OK, now I really do have Volvo VNR Optimus Prime. He's nice, but he's so much red. I'd like it if they did a blue truck since all of his upper body and arms are hidden so they could still do proper all blue legs and all red from the waist up.

Got a few things from Mandarake. All stuff I've been after and at great prices, but the shipping screwed me as usual.

Transformers Adventures Voyager Battle Grimlock - Been after him for a long time, 8 years I guess. It was still MIB.

ROTB Deluxe Cheetor - Since these look like they'll never see release in the US and its the only figure I want from the three packs this was a good deal and made even better by being cheaper than a usual Deluxe in the US. Also MIB.

Beast Wars II Scissor Boy - Loose, but super cheap. Been looking for a replacement for my Powerpinch figure that broke the day I bought it back in the day at TRU so I'm finally making good on that. I can ignore the Maximal rub symbol.

I never, ever saw SS Blue Rumble in store. Mor even on Canadian webstores. The only one I ever saw were sold out. So I had no choice but to pay the equivalent of a freaking DELUXE to import the damn thing from Japan via Amazon.JP.
SG Soundwave was supposed to ride alongside him in the shipping box, but he'll be shipped at an undetermined date separately.



At least, it's night and day compared to the Siege version.

I finally got the RotB 3-pack part 2, and I at long last have a deluxe Mirage!

I got the DNA Design upgrade kit for my MPM Bee Nemesis Prime. It's expensive as balls but it will be worth it.

I also finally decided to get SG Soundwave. I ordered it at the same time as SS Blue Rumble from Amazon.jp. in the end, paying a bit more than 100$can total for it was unavoidable. At least I finally have the Netflix mold and it's in colors unique enough to get.

I'm on my way to visit my mom. While I was going to Montreal, might as well hunt some TF.

At Winners I found that Cyberverse Slugtron set for just 10$can. Then at Walmart, of course there was no traces of any G2 Legacy, but at least I found the final ROTB beasts Targetmaster Optimus Primal. I took one extra for my friend. Finally, I got Armada Optimus and my friend's Xmass gift, Selects Cyclonus who was the price of a deluxe. I paid my GameStop stuff by dumping some unplayed Nintendo Switch games. Something I haven't fone in roughly 20 years.

After 3 whole freaking YEARS of waiting, at last I have my Super 7 Ultimate Bludgeon! To me, that's basically a MP G1 Bludgeon. I'll post pictures in the appropriate thread soon.

Also, from eBay, the Collector Club G2 Ramjet. Now, I only need the G2 original to complete my trio.

I just played a bit with my CC G2 Ramjet and I'm bummed.

The cockpit bar just wont enter the back of the cockpit completely, making it impossible to fully close his chest.

Am I doing something wrong, or is that a running defect on that particular Ramjet?





I ask before I Dremel the shiz out of this, despite the money that I paid.

I sold mine off a while ago, but I always pushed the bottom patr of the cockpit near the waist down and back first and then pushets the upper part near the head back. Give that a shot? also maybe the chest is also a little too far forward and getting in the way?

There's really only one way to transform the Classic Seeker. It's the first time I encountered the problem.

I look at the parts again, closer, and with better lighting. It's very hard to see but the movement jam right at the top pin of the bar. As if the pin is just some thousandth of an inch too long and it stick out barely from both sides.

Tomorrow I'll dissemble the thing, sand down the pin, then re-assemble everything and see how it goes.

EDIT:

Turns out my pin theory was wrong and it was the cavity inside the cockpit that was too small. So I Dremelled away where it will be the less appearent, meaning the bar. Then I used some Sharpie to hide the scar as best as possible.



It work!



But then, the chest panel still won't close completely because something gets in the way. I will not pry further. That's close enough. It's still frustrating that such a beautiful seeker that cost me more than a leader class Transformers, suffer from mold degradation this much.

Got titan changer Scourge. Alt mode is actually pretty neat, and I do like how much attention when into his trophy grill for this kind of release. Which, btw, has Prime Predacon symbols on it

Yesterday I bought the ROTB Scourge with Scorponok armor. I paid full price but it was worth it. The whole thing is pretty damn cool.



Today, I went to my geek store and he had the latest Legacy wave! So I cancelled a few preorders from Amazon that were due for OCTOBER.

GameStop Canada is having the Studio Series ROTB Rhinox. So I went to hunt the only one that was completely eastward at Laval. I got my Rhinox and while I was there, I went to the nearby Walmart just in case.

I saw that they had a Legacy Deadend on the shelves... But its colors were off... It was strangely shiny. It took a solid 10 seconds for my brain to notice that it was the special G2 edition and ALL the deluxes were there! Furthermore, they also had G1 Perceptor and Kickback!



So I took their only Sideswipe for me and their only Deadend for a possible trade.

Then for my friend, the fruity Mirage and the G1 Perceptor.

Today was a good day! For my mind, but not for my credit card!
