I think we got Megs/Screamer but just really sparsely. I sure never saw them though. Man... Canada really sucked for Legends hey?-Kanrabat- wrote:I don't think I ever saw Gears/AcidStorm. Starscream/Megatron either. I had to buy Megs and Screamers off Ebay for crying out loud!shajaki wrote:Yeah. I was wondering if you meant Gears. I only saw Gears/AcidStorm ONCE at Target and never again.-Kanrabat- wrote:I have Swerve. I bought him a bit after Cosmos, when I really wanted something new. He was indeed here, with Cosmos, and there was a lot of him everywhere.shajaki wrote:WJ, I'm really baffled. You never saw Swerve? Cause once he showed up here, he didn't leave. If you found Cosmos you shoulda found Swerve. Those two were EVERYWHERE (here anyways).

Pretty nice haul, can't wait to open them up.Pardon my ignorance. I'm extra awful with names sometimes. Who are the other two? AOE dudes?
Junk Heap uses the RTS Wreck Garr mold (Moosey, please be careful with that toy, do not transform him too often or else his handlebar will surely break, it is a serious flaw and I hope you dont end up in the same position as so many other fans). And I am pretty sure the other is generations Sky Shadow.
Oh, I understand that. Anything that's not Generations/CW/RID is a blur to me. Back when Animated/Prime was the thing I pretty much ignored it. I can probably only name or picture half the figures from those lines.william-james88 wrote:You know what guys, it could very well be that Swerve was sold out by the time I cared to get him or know who he was. In this past year, my transformer knowledge rose astronomically (it helps to have Sabrblade and Jelze around) and I also started reading the comics. So it could very well be that he was at walmart where Cosmos was and I just never paid any attention to him since I had no clue who he was. And thats maybe why I have no recollection of ever seeing him.
Moosey wrote:Thanks for the warning William James. why is it that the handle bars break so easy? Cobo, I was super jazzed when I found springer at the convention, I hope springer's ego doesn't outdo the figure itself!
Pulling up on the gas tank during transformation causes his rubber handlebars to be dislodged and moved to the side. Do NOT unhinge the handlebars manually: doing so creates stress points in the hinges that connect them to the gas tank, resulting in many reported instances of breakage. Unfortunately, many have found that the nubs that hold the handlebars in place in bike mode are too strong, and even using the automorph as intended causes damage. Cutting the nubs off has been the only consistent fix to prevent breakage. Wreck-Gar is also sadly prone to stress marks and potential fractures in his hands and helmet-horns.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

First Grimlock, his T-Rex arms are really small and I'm constantly afraid that they may pop off whenever I'm moving them around for transformation. Also, his back likes to come unpegged from his tail when I'm moving him around and posing him. For Slug, the ribs can be a right pain in the butt when transforming either way. The seem to get in the way of the rest of the transformation and it can be hard to get them into position when going to Dino mode. For Strafe, his legs are a bit hard to position it seems like. It can be a bit difficult to get him to stand. Also, I can't really find a good pose for him in Dino mode without a stand (which I don't have at the moment). It looks like he's just flopping around on his belly and looks a bit silly.
Out of the three, I think Slug is my favorite with Strafe being my least favorite (though that by no means makes him a bad toy).

Both great toys. Will is right about the handle bars on Junk Heap. Be careful.
Ah ha! Sky Shadow. I love that mold, and that head sculpt is great. Those horn/fin/wing/thingies are awesome.

Yeah, I was super happy with this haul!! I apologize for accidentally calling Sky Shadow "Black Shadow," that was his name in the IDW-Verse. I am super happy about both figures, they both are amazing, and springer; need I say more? The con was definitely a success.![]()
Ahhh. That's what C2E2 means. I knew it sounded familiar.Moosey wrote:The con was definitely a success.![]()

I think I liked Strafe just cause of the giant wings, and the SDCC G1 version all chromed up is really impressive.ClearlySane88 wrote:Out of the three, I think Slug is my favorite with Strafe being my least favorite (though that by no means makes him a bad toy).

Which Dino's are you missing now? I would honestly say, don't worry about Slash (the one who didn't make it in the movie) if you can't find him. He was pretty "meh" to me, but I'd understand if you wanted him just to say you got em all![]()

Yerp, should've specified that. It's really worth going to, if you live near/in Chicago. Also Shajaki, are the AOE Dinos worth collecting? I got Slug (the triceratops), but didn't grab the others. I thought Slug wasn't bad, are the others good?
