Jeez...
Beside, the Tailgate mold is complete garbage. It's just a mess of panels that would make the worst shellformers blush in embarasment.
Yeah, it is a garbage mold, glad it came with a targetmaster, he's fun.
But didnt you get a nemesis and cliffjumper? They were there last time, no?

Ya man, I'd say a WIFE is a pretty sweet haul in and of itself. Congrats Dag!shajaki wrote:Dagon wrote:I got married last Friday. Its almost a shame that you couldn't have gotten a Scramble City Combiner first. THEN Predaking woulda felt hugeClearlySane88 wrote:Got this in the mail today!
After hearing Kanrabat talk about it a bit, I decided to see if I could find Predaking. Both BBTS and Amazon actually had him new still, and at MSRP, so I went ahead and grabbed him. You guys weren't kidding, this guy is huge! He's only about a head or so shorter than CW Menasor!

I knew you wouldnt be dissapointed! "A head shorter than CW Menasor" sure... but TWICE as MASSIVE, both in appearance and weight. Just imagine what could have been with a "voyager" torso!![]()
I also really love the beast modes and the bot modes are adorable as fawk. I got mine on sale at only 100$CAN+tx with free shipping. But even at the regular 150$CAN+tx, I think it would still be worth the money!

Gratz though. This is a figure every TF collector should own
william-james88 wrote:Dude, its awesome that you like G1 and have a chance to get these toys at a reasonable price. Like you, I started collecting not too long ago and I was so pleased to find this guy. While he might be a bit smaller than today's combiner war toys, the heft on this guy is uncomparable. And those robot modes are awesome for the simple fact that their limbs for animal mode are not repeated in robot mode. Ravage is my favourite robot mode while the Rhino and Bull are my favourite in animal mode, they just kick so much ass in beast mode. And those beast modes were never ever done better by third parties for some reason. They just look so massive in their G1 blockiness. And another cool side note, the original Japanese version was made entirely of plastic, which this version improved upon (when i twas rereleased in japan) by adding die cast, which was present in the original Hasbro version. This reissue is even better than the original with its badass gold color usage which I feel works better than yellow. Did you sticker him up yet? He just looks so much more badass and majestic with those on. You might get addicted to putting on new G1 stickers, which is a very understandable but expensive addiction
Sorry for my fanboy moment here, I just love this toy and I am so glad others can enjoy him too
ClearlySane88 wrote:Oh, I totally agree, the Rhino and Bull have the best animal modes (they look so cool with those giant cannons on their backs). Razorclaw is probably my favorite robot mode though. I didn't know that about the Japanese version having no metal on it. I do think the Rhino has a bit too much metal on his back and he's a bit difficult to stand in robot mode if you don't have his legs just right. I haven't put the stickers on yet, because that's an intimidating amount to have to do. Also, the stickers on my Insecticons are starting to peel off already and I don't know why. I want to make sure to find a way to stop that before I put any on Predaking.

Sure, it take a long time to sticker G1 King up. Especially the Lion and Eagle parts. However, you'll see that it's really, really worth the time. Also, don't worry, Kings stickers stick really well. No peeling at all on mine and I think Will can confirm it too.
So, GET TO WORK!

Heh, I know the feeling. I'm terrible at bargaining and I all most always end up paying eBay prices whenever I go to a flea market. Nice pick up though Kanrabat! I do want to pick up the Blaster and Perceptor set when that comes out.

3rd party Bandit Slot Machine from 1984 (Nostalgia rush for that one, plus it's in prfect condition)
Finally, Gobots ambulance (Yellowed, one tire missing and one split, but still nice)

the small things with baggie are the convention exclusives, some mini-con ripoff. get one free with a purchase of lottery tickets.
as for the three in the middle, you're close. they're actually Blockman figures, but with a custom sleeve around their styrofoam trays. these guys were the exclusives from the 2013 Katwijk meeting. one of the organisers of that meeting regularly goes to japan and takes all kind of stuff back with him. for the meeting, he bought a whole bunch of these and gave each a customised sleeve. he had a bunch of them left over and had them on sale at this convention. i had some money left over and decided to buy a couple (i already had a few from the meeting).

Very cool! Ya know, I don't think I new what they were originally called by Takara, but of course it was Blockman. They are cousins to Microman. Really neat with the custom touch. Ahhhh, 5mm p&p at it's heyday.
Great haul!
