I had a cute haul yesterday at the THRIFT SHOP!

DOTM deluxe Ratchet
Lion King Scar (1994)
Rescue Bots Dinobot Bumblebee
And a really nice Tomy Commandron from 1985 for Cobotron!

Probably should have washed these, they smell like R Kelley's sheets. But ****, it was 1$ and 99 cents!

Oh, what a haul today!

This is vintage goodness right here. Got them all with some trades and a few bucks.

First of, I got G1 Red Alert, original vintage. Very clean and extremely tight. Too bad there is no weapons.

Second is a trio of Gobots. Both Jeeper Creeper and mini Spay-C are incomplete, but at least, I have them. Also, another Future Machine to display at work.

Then, Trible changer G1 Sandstorm and G1 Blurr. None have any weapons but both are very clean and in great shape. Too bad Blurr don't have his sheild because it's the front of the vehicle.

And finally, G1 Snarl!

... Or is it?

I mean, something seem... off...

In reality, it's a VINTAGE knock-off.
PREHISTORIC ANIMAL #2 TRICERATOPS. Or a veriant of it.

An extremely valuable and expensive KO.

Dunno if mine is really THAT expensive, but it was cheap and quite a find!

Picked up RID one step Springload. My son loves him! He is totes adorbs as the kids say. Also he is solid and will stay in either mode.

Back from the Thrift Shop, look what I found :shock:

There was a bunch of other goodies. All the loose TFs you see below came out to 8$ (5.80$ USD)

And yes, that is Roadrage in the back, I got her for that same good deal everyone else got recently.

Came with everything:

I must say, she dissapoints me a bit. Nothing is very inventive about her, unlike previous MPs, especially her leg transformation which doesn't amount to much. You just slide a panel over it to make it look like new robot detail, which I find a bit lame. It shows a disconnect between the transformation and how the robot would actually transform. That detail is an outcome of her transformation, not just a pretty robot mode pannel to cover stuff up. I dont know if I am making sense here, but yeah not super impressed. And I have a lot of issues on where her head lies and how it doesnt settle anywhere.

That first movie Voyager Prime surprised me quite a bit. It's an interesting take on a prime transformation, though I am not a big fan of the fake chest (though I like how it appears). That deluxe Jazz though is baaaaaad. Wow, I havent held a toy this bad in a long time. Easily one of the top 5 worst toys I currently own.

I picked up Skyreign's limbs today at Target. I actually kinda like 'em, especially Trailbreaker. Wheeljack straight up suuuucks though. Not only is he way too plain, but his plastic feels soft and his tabs aren't very good at staying in place.

I also saw a Cyberverse Optimus Maxmimus at Goodwill. Well, most of one anyway, he didn't have arms. I considered grabbing him to use as a base mode, but he's got too many holes and I don't think it would look good next to the upcoming TR bases. My last trip to Goodwill was pretty good, got a Night Ops Ratchet for 3 bucks(again without arms, what's the deal with that?) some Constructbots for 3 bucks(mostly for the random weapons), and the little Roller that comes with Legends class Optimus for 50 cents.

I'm holding out hope I'll somehow stumble across a Metroplex at a thrift store sometime, lol.

Also, a little tip that I'm not sure where else to post, but it's helpful with big hauls of new figures-

Cat nail trimmers are awesome for clipping those little plastic tie-downs. I've been using them for awhile and it makes unboxing a lot easier. They even work on the old paper/rope tie-downs. I've found it to be much quicker than a knife or scissors, though in some extremely tight spots I'll still use a small knife.

I have seen him twice at the thrift store and he never has ams. I dont get it, do all kids just rip his arms off?!

Easier than Voyager Ratchet? Bumblebee is by far the easiest to find though, but thats just because there are so many toys of him out there. In a span of 2 weeks, I have found 4 (in great shape too!).
