Titan Return Autobot Topspin

My local Target had plenty of Wave 4 Deluxes, except for Quake. I was considering Krok as well, because he just looks enticing in robot mode (somehow all black figures are), I even had inklings of a back story on how he's a gator now instead of an aircraft (it involved Gatoraider being retrofitted), I decided to go for the twins for now. Can't wait for Twin Twist to pop up.

Not sure if that mispelling was purpose or not but if ya prefer I tend to go by just 'Carn' (often when playing old video games where they only allow a max of 5 or 6 letters)

I had a lil game of 'Who can Omegatron knock over by slowly walking into them' He couldn't take down Unicron but he did make Primus shuffle back a bit. Knocked over Titans Return Megatron and Prime. TLK Prime made a good stand and got pushed back a few inches before he finally toppled.


Ohhh.. I only just noticed the 'megatron' in 'omegatron'. I only saw the 'omega' and figured that was the TF naming there. Suppose it makes sense since Omegatron is an evil leader of his faction too.

Little box yesterday.

Pointblank - Had a dodgy leg, and I intended to use him and my other dodgy Pointblank to make one good one. Turns out, my existing Pointblank had the same dodgy leg! Turns out the screw that connects the outer leg through the ratchet joint onto the inner leg had slightly stripped the hole. So I used a slightly bigger screw. It's not a permanent fix but it'll do for now.

Also got Fizzle and Sizzle to go with Fo'Shizzle (Guzzle) and Action Master Snarl.

There was also a box from Toyhax, but that's a post for another time ...

Dark of the Moon Mudflap. Was 20 pence as he is missing windshield and hood of car but otherwise I actually really like the squat lil uglyfaced bot and would quite like to get replacement parts. I've got DotM Skids somewhere missing windshield and forearms.

He has orange feet like Bludgeon! That means he's awesome.

The seller found space in the box to include the poster too! Gnaw is simply there cuz I got him a bit back, but never posted him. Only just unpacked him this week. He is cute. My 4 y/o son calls him Knagertje, as I told him "gnaw" means "knaag" in Dutch lol.



He bought the set at a discount apparently, kept Fastlane, and basically sold me the rest of it for $100,- with shipping included. That's a good deal for EU standards
Scratching Nautica off my wanted list!


Also got me a TR Rewind and Stripes, because they were on sale, and who knows, I may find a discounted Blaster one day... Otherwise they'll be Soundwaves buddies for now.

And I ordered Takara's TR Astrotrain too. Decided I like him better than Hasbro's colours. Will post when I get him, which should be tomorrow.

Especially wickedly evil ones with nasty cleavers. The mask gimmick is dope!

Finally secured a TLK Voyager Megatron. Pre-owned by a collector, complete with box, instructions, and all that. That was a bit like pulling teeth in getting this time. Distribution on these was screwy and all over the place and scalpers were jacking it up to be like double or even triple retail. I'm going to try to secure the Leader class here at some point, hope the distribution and supply is ultimately better.

The TLK Voyager Megatron should be here on Monday I believe (and hope).

Not sure if this counts as a haul, but I got the Platinum Edition triple changers. I actually got it about 2 years ago and just never got around to opening it. At first I wasn't sure I was going to keep it so I didn't open it right away, then got more excited about other hauls.

Anyway, finally cracked it open tonight and it's a pretty cool set. Yea the colors kinda suck (more so with Astrotrain, BW's color kinda works) and you can't do much with the robot modes. But given the age of the mold, I can appreciate the engineering behind it. And I actually like the alt modes. IMO Astrotrain shuttle > BW tank > BW plane > Astrotrain train.

That's happened to me so many damn times on much cheaper figures but on a Masterpiece that is unacceptable. Hope you get a replacement soon cos other than that it's a gorgeous amazing figure. (Also I hadn't noticed before but the joints that connect the lil roofy bits above the windows? I love how they've been sculpted to match the rest of those bits... though never been sure what they are... little lights?)

Started tweaking my oversized Weijang Arcee too. Even used apoxie for the first time ever (despite having bought the stuff 10 years ago, glad it still works) to fill in those holes on the backpack bits behind her shoulders cos I hated those on this and the original smaller Hasbro/Takara version. Bit of painting and I'm already liking it more. Much more preferable to me than the new Blurrcee figure.



Just noticed I've mistransformed Icepick's waist area and made him look taller than he should be. Oops.

I had a bunch of the drones until I sold them recently which join as arms and legs to these figures. Icepick's combiner head is in his chest. He's like a crazy punky Iceman of the X-Men.

I'd like to find Human Alliance Icepick sometime

yeah Scouts were a fun size. I have Skystalker and Breacher (both not my original ones... in fact Breacher is my fourth Breacher though only second complete one) and I miss Hubcap especially cos I'd like to have these G2 stickers on him https://toyhax.com/for-classics/928-lab ... &results=3 Insecticon was another fun one with crazy level of articulation for his size.
