Good way to ring in page 700!grimdragon2001 wrote:Finally found it!
shajaki wrote:I'm happy to say here's one possibly elusive bugger off my list! There's a couple Hasbro TRU coupons floating around, good till end of August, $20 off and 10% off. They're not supposed to be used in tandem, but my cashier didn't know apparently!
To any other Canadians, I highly suggest you take advantage of these coupons. And with the proof above (my pic of the receipt) then you should be able to double up like I did too! Print out the pics below, they won't accept them in store unless you have them on paper.

Thanks Willwilliam-james88 wrote:And congrats Shajaki, on that stacking, you are a man after my own heart!

Someone else in town used both coupons on something a week or so ago, and they accepted them so I thought I'd give it a shot!

I know, I couldnt believe it!
I threw mine away at my local geek store to get 5$ in store credit, Gamestop style. Gotta get those Geewun toys somehow!
Tyrannacon wrote:Finally secured a TLK Voyager Megatron. Pre-owned by a collector, complete with box, instructions, and all that. That was a bit like pulling teeth in getting this time. Distribution on these was screwy and all over the place and scalpers were jacking it up to be like double or even triple retail. I'm going to try to secure the Leader class here at some point, hope the distribution and supply is ultimately better.
The TLK Voyager Megatron should be here on Monday I believe (and hope).

Better than CHUG Bee?
nah

The first CW team, Superion with Alpha Bravo.
Instead of just throwing it for 50$CAN in store credits at my local geek store, I took my chances to sell it in the local classified for 100$CAN.
Well, turn out a mom (very beautiful woman by the way) bought it for her 11 years old son. She was there with her children and the boy look so shy! It was adowable.
I'm glad to have sold the set, sure, but I'm even happier that that Superion went to an ACTUAL KID who will create wonderful memories with it.
I gave a final warning to the mom and kid before we went on our separate ways. "Be careful not to lose any parts because in 10, 20, or 30 years, when the boy will want the thing(s) back, it will be a real pain to get the parts on the secondary market...

All that's left is e-Hobby Cobalt Sentries, and the G1 Combiners (never reissued or KO'd, so I gotta buy vintage). I'm almost done!Cobotron wrote:Jak, your cassette collection is getting GIGANTIC!![]()

I went on a crazy Cassette hunt this year and this was always on the list. I didn't snatch it up to capitalize on poor Chester, but I was spurred to move it up the list in case it goes up in price.william-james88 wrote:I am curious of something, is this recent Soundwave purchase a sort of offering to a recently departed soul?
