In another thread, someone point out his reprolabel sewt. I'm tempted.
Just found out that my Whril did NOT come with his sticker sheet. Any more of you having this issue?

Part III of the graduation haul!
And it's, so far, the literal king of the hauls... MP-11 Starscream! He came in the mail this afternoon, and I finally had the time to sit down and fiddle with him. Holy crap guys, I cannot think of where to begin with Starscream... the quality is just goddamn amazing, and the new design just trumps the old one. Having had the Wal*Mart exclusive Skywarp for several years and having to put up with his fiddliness, the quality, the joints, and the transformation just absolutely baffle me (in a good way). I am literally awestruck to the point where I can't even speak comprehensibly. And, since this is the Asia reissue, the collector's coin also comes with him. It's lighter than I thought it'd be, since I was expecting it to be similar to one of my Marine Corps challenge coins, but nonetheless, it's goddamn awesome.
What a way to begin getting stuff from Takara. Twenty out of ten!

EDIT: here's an image of the greatest thing in the world (from my Facebook account). Advanced apologies for iPod's potato quality.

This makes me sad. I was kinda wanting the Soundwave coin(will probably still get it eventually), but knowing this, it's less want. Even the coins I've gotten from game companies are the same size and weight as my Air Force coins.

If I'm turning you off because you think they're cheaply made, it really doesn't feel cheap at all! It doesn't feel like it'll bend or scratch easily at all. It's just much lighter than I expected it to be.

Me and Will, we went to the local TrU for some free Kreo becausee of the event. We also went to the flea marke today. I came back with an impressive lot!
Here's what I got:
Remember Apetimus Supreme? I had to "kill" BM Optimus Primal. I kept his weapon just in case. So, I found another for 3$ without weapon. He'll be complete soon.
Then, a legends + Universe Starscream lot. The legends being Universe G2 Megatron (100%), Universe Red Alert (no gun?), and TF Prime Ratchet (no gun). Starscream is perfect, have it's missiles pods, but no missiles. All for 11$!
Finally, a 100% complete Cybertron Menasor! We tought it did not have it's minicon but when I fiddled with it some more at the bus stop, I discovered it, safely hidden inside Menasor's cockpit! I didnt know Menasor had a cockpit! His only fault is a broken tab for the claw gimmick. Also, a very, very nice condition Go Bots Loco. PLUS, Cybertron Crosswise, excellent condition, 100% complete. This last one amazed me because he look and transform like the long lost original RID 4th car Brother! This last lot for... drumroll... 20$!!!

All in all, a 34$ well spendt.
Will, we shall do this again next month!

Thats an amazing lot, Kanrabat, congrats on it, especially the complete Menasor!
On my end, I got Leader Movie Brawl and Universe Sunstreak for 25$. From the prices, you can guess that both are missing some accessories. But its not like I would find them for cheaper anytime soon.
I also got some free KRE-O sets from the toysrus Transformers event that happened all across Canada. And Kanrabat gave me Deluxe movie Thundercracker which is an awesome mold!
But speaking of awesome molds, yesterday I got the King of great molds: Universe Onslaught.
Oh man, what an amazing and solid figure. Both modes invoke invulnerability and are so much in sync with one another. Yet both modes are also very independent in their design to the point that each of them look like a finished toy. He easily has one of my favourite robot modes around. I also got my Slug evolution 2 pack in the mail. I for one think Slug is very underrated. I love the bot mode and I find it a fun upgrade to the triceratop transformer concept. I realy like how the arms and legs are formed and it is much more involved than other quadriped animal transformers.

Glad you like DOTM Thundercracker, Will!
Did you swap his weapons for Topspin's long (or shorts) guns?
I'm currently replacing Starscream's empty missile pods with some heavily modified Constructbots Thundercracker guns. I'll post the pictures in a thread once the paint is dry.

Nice job on the Dinobot shrine! Especially the SD and Candy Kit add a special touch to it
Should you want to hunt down Hasbro's 10th Anniversary Dinobot, be warned: he is a confirmed sufferer of Gold Plastic Syndrome, especially in the shoulder joints and the claws. Grimlock is one too.

Congrats on Cohadra, that is one cool transformer. I have a question, what is the transformer with the chest that resembles Generations Optimus (WFC) ?

i think youre referring to the movie protoform prime. for the first bay movie there were two "preview" figures released, prime and starscream "protoforms". and prime was repainted and re-released in takaras recent advanced movie line.william-james88 wrote:Congrats on Cohadra, that is one cool transformer. Gold Plastic Syndrome is a catch-all term for gold plastic (actually any plastic with metallic flake) that's becoming really brittle, way sooner than it should. It's especially noticeable in some figures from late-G1 (Pretender Monsters, G2 Slingshot and Electro) to the end of Beast Wars (BW Grimlock, BWNeo Randy). Nowadays it's very sporadic, but still present.

I got a complete (with instructions) Animated Snarl today for 4$.
A great deal for sure! But the person I bought it from also wanted to give me 3 more toys that came with the package, making this one of the most random toy haul I have had (I dont think it beats the mecha spiderman, small green army men, ninja turtle, batman, digimon and transformer haul of a month ago though)
