You got everybody minus ro-tor as a set right? Great old classic figures in any release.
You are going Gestalt crazy!
@MenaceRX - Man, that Onslaught really does it right for that spindly Brute.
How is he as a single toy? Is he about Voyager size?

RiD Ruination without Ro-Tor was just 19$, bought locally. Unfortunately, the cheapest Ro-Tor was a sealed one for 35$ shipped. Still a great deal overall. The individual bot modes are complete garbage but the vehicles are great and the combined robot is awesome.

drawbacks though, are his colors only kinda suit two versions (retail and platinum/SDCC), and disassembling of arm bots to incorporate the 3P pieces.-Kanrabat- wrote:BTW, that 3p "Onslaught" IS voyager sized. Worth it if you like FOC Bruticus but think the deluxe torso is crap.

boosticus is all snap on stuff. MBC makes you dissasemble blast off at every ball joint and peg almost, vortex likwise but slightly better. i really dont like it, but you cant argue with the results.Cobotron wrote:@Jaki - Does that boosticus set make him more stable? Are those some feet add-ons?
And by disassembling do mean screw drivers and shtufff? That always makes me a little nervous.
EDIT:sorry your dis-assembly comment was for the Onslaught figure. So the add-on kit is just plug and play?

honestly what id like to do is:
-get a boosticus for my G2 bruticus
-get a boosticus for my takara bruticus
-get MBC for a fruiticus i dont even own (which i would then have to go buy)
MBC is almost that awesome, but thats a lot of money and id be content with my two sporting boosticus's's.

Autobot032 wrote:Get the Boosticus for your G2. I did, I don't regret it even one bit. A really nice set and worth the money. Changes the entire set, drastically. I like the MBC Onslaught, I really do, because he's so bulky and looks so fantastic, but that disassembly thing just terrifies me. I still say we're going to see at least some damaged figures in the future. Especially Blast Off.

Oh, you've not heard that before? That's a classic that's been running through the fandom since they made their debut. I love calling it Fruiticus. lol

Cobotron wrote:@WillyJ - Glad you like those guys. I always thought their combination design was interesting and unique, with that central hub. Don't you think that lil' dozer is just drenched in Takara awesomeness? That head sculpt is super sweet, and I love that when he punches you it leaves tread marks imprinted in yer face.
