Today I received my Henkei D-01 Megatron. I don't know why I waited so long to get 1, but I did. I must say, I haven't been this impressed by a Transformer in a long time. It has an elaborate transformation, it's quite hefty, and feels good in the hand in gun mode. The robot mode is a good homage to G1 Megatron, my only single complaint is the inability of the right fist to rotate so that the arm doesn't look weird when extended forward with the cannon on top. It was $28 well spent, especially for it being MISB.

Here is a funny little haul from today. It's got TWO battle modes.

I love spending little coin for little bots. 1/2 off at Tuesday Morning.
I'm tellin' ya. If you live in the middle west of Amurca, keep your eye on Tuesday Morning.
It's where toy lines go to die. They had piles of Bot Shots, older Contructbots, and Kreo.
All on the chibity cheap!

I got Voyager helicopter Drift because I really like the mold.

Picked up three packs of Kre-O Micro Changers. I saw that Nightbeat was one of the ones I could get in the first one and I thought "Aww, I hope I get the Nightbeat one!" Sure enough, NIGHTBEAT! Then it got better when I got Runamuck in one. Then it got worse when I got Cheetor in the last one. But at least Cheetor came with a sword.

The colours where all wrong, I thought. Doing a quick search on BBTS it appears I am the owner of Takara Tomy Legends LG01 Rattle! At only £9 with free delivery (approx $13?) this is my first Legends version and at a bargain price too!

hows the quality of your rattle? i heard that lena's stuff is factory rejects or something, and i just bought legends whirl and cloud shockwave. prices were awesome, but i fear the quality might be a gamble.

That is amazing! I can attest to Lena's quality. I have been deaing with that seller for a while and the factory rejects are usually due to a slight deco mistake (the name on the MP Lambor stickers that came with the TF Exclusive is Tigertrack in error) or other small defect (screw hole in MP Megatron is too wide). But it's never a deal breaker and has always been worth it so far. They always feel just as fine as regular stock. Oh and I am also hoping to get that Cloud Shockwave. It would be my first version of the mold, is it any good?

whirl... well... the knee joints are kind of a nightmare. i heard stories about people snapping his knee joints off because of how freakishly tight they are, then i got generations whirl for myself. and yeah. terrifying. so much so that i didnt even attempt to transform him. i even grabbed him yesterday to see if i could disassemble the legs and shave down those joints, but they seem to be held in with pins. im hoping the takara versions are looser, but even if theyre not im still happy to have them at lena's prices

We have a thread for feedback regarding our transactions with Lena. I just posted the variety of factory defects I got over the many transactions I made if anyone is curious about what they are getting into when dealing wit this seller. In the end, the price is always good, but you will rarely ever get a perfect transformer (with or without instructions and rarely MISC).

At last, I got Generations Windblade!... For the full 17$+tx price. Still, no regrets because she's quite awesome. Her jet mode is not to shabby and I LOVE that sword!
Transformation is a bit fiddly however.
Also, very ladylike and noble looking robot mode. LOVE IT!

Glad you got her Kanrabat. She is still listed at 10$ on walmrat.ca. You wouldnt be able to show that in the store and get her for the same price, right? Also, do the jet mode back fins connect as one or are they still a bit split when you connect them?

I took your advice and got myself a one step helicopter drift He is a lot of fun and indeed, the only original mold of his helicopter mode made for this toyline. Actually, when you think about it, he is seen transforming into a helicopter twice but never into the car. You see him as the car sure, but I now feel that his prominance as a car in my mind is only due to marketting.

He is fine but I really dont like the flat face. They could have done something better with the head.

I don't have an I-Phone so I never think about checking those things. Oh well. Also, yes, her tailfin from the heels connect perfectly in vehicle mode. It's the the side pegs of the wings that are fiddly to connect because they must be placed just right. Appart that the vehicle is great looking and with the sword stored, the gaps on the back don't bother me at all. My only wish would have for her to be able to fold her feets flat in jet mode. She's not perfect, but I don't regret having paid full price for her.

About helicopter Drift, yeah, flat face is flat. Maybe that was a compromise they had to make for the sake of transformation. I may give him a black wash on his face to bring up the details.

I love these little guys! Except Wheelie. Now he's sitting, decapitated, in Ripclaws grasp.

I thought the AoE line was over. Then lo and behold, there's some new 1step changers at my local TrU. On sale to boot! There's the Dog, Crosscut and two I never expected: ROTF Megatron and a very classic looking Prowl! Got the doggie, Megs, and Prowl:



Dog is funny, but his non-gimmick front leg is too loose so he have a hard time standing on all four. Prowl is based on Drift and he's quite nice. Megatron is quite big and he got a very minimalist but effective transformation.

That's Spike in the Exo-suit, isn't it? Or since the figure is officially called "Exo-Suit" it could be either?

Also, I received mine last week, and Exo-Suit promptly took off to Mkall in Canada. I like Bumble.

We actually had a debate on that in the MP Galleries thread. Put short, the sculpt is mostly based on Daniel, but a shot it's called "Spike's Exo-Suit". I think even the designers were confused

That's how I see it. Its daniel in Spike's exosuit. So everyone is right and Takara is as genius as ever

Warrior class RID Steeljaw and Bumblebee arrived as well as legion class Strongarm. I am def loving this line so far. Would love to pick up another Steeljaw if I find him on sale so I can pose him with 2 of those Wolverine claw weapons.

I got Fansproject Dead End and Motormaster in the last week so Menasor Is finally complete.

Also picked up combiner wars Powerglide, Bombshell and Windcharger.

Windcharger isn't a patch on the earlier Chug version.
