Picked up CW Bombshell and Windcharger! I wish Bombshell was closer in colour to Skrapnel, but it's still awesome. Windcharger is equally as awesome. Getting closer to an updated Season 1 Autobot cast!

I ordered these from Hasbro Toyshop during the 20% off deal. They came today.

With that, my tax return spending spree is just about over. I've got a ROTF buster Optimus Prime in transit, CW Magnus, 3rd party Megatron, and 3rd party Sunstreaker on pre order. That's it. Next transformer I buy after that will probably be MP Tracks.

Yeah. I'm waiting on picking up any protectobots until we know what Hasbro's plans for Bruticus are. I'm interested to see what happens next year. Also interested in finding out if the MP Jazz and Ironhide rumors have any fact to them.

Dont know about you guys, but I am not the world's number one fan of redecos. Retools are fine, especially if it works but the way Hasbro and Takara have treated the brake neck addition kinda leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. While I udnerstand the "smart" business practices behind redecos, I generally dont encourage it at mass retail (I totally get it with exclusives, but thats for another market, and usually by a different team). It was also a good rule to help me manage my budget. These combiner wars toys are of course making me rethink this. I still dont like redecos though, especially when I dont have any nostalgia factor, so I reasoned with myself that I will do my best not to get 2 of the same core mold in Combiner Wars. That means I wont opt for the autobot stunticons redecos, nor will I go for wildrider inorder not to end up with that toy 3-4 times. With Takara's Superion and Hasbro's Defensor and Menasor, I would be maxing out on 4 molds (the two aerialbots, the first aid and the dead end mold). I am hoping Hasbro makes new molds for the combiners after these because I dont know if I could live with myself buying so many retools and redecos when that is usually something I aim to avoid.

lena's got a lot of fans around here, I know I'm one! I picked up my most recent acquisition from lena this morning, BH Screamer for about a fiver. I'm definitely glad I snagged it.

Daughter picked up Legion Class Strong arm. I'm still avoiding the line like the plague. I saw Warrior Class Prime the other day, alt mode still looks like it got hit with a truckload of WTF. Might go back and grab him for her she seems to be enjoying this line.

That was hilarious, thanks for sharing. When you said what the Warrior Class prime truck looked like, I was in stitches. It sounded like what one would say about the Platinum Blitzwing and Astrotrain set coming out.

And I am still super happy you are letting your daughter grab whatever she likes even if you dont like em. Her liking these toys now can only mean good things for later when she can handle more advanced toys. I am getting a daughter come august so I am glad to see that some girls wont mind stepping out into the other toy aisles and giving things like this a chance.
