Wow, congrats!!!!!! When I bought this set for 25$ I think I had the unbelievable deal, so 20$ is just awesome. You will adore these, especially that Snake. It is one of the best takara beast molds with a killer headsculpt.

After seeing some video reviews, how could I resist?
Even if one of the review was quite negative, despite what Bailmatrix said, I could only see awesome on my screen:

This blurry video sold me for the other figure. Bulbazaur mode FTW!

Baltmatrix never appreciates the more absurd transformers, so that's not shocking to me. As someone who does, however, Saberback is a great mold! I have the Beast Machines version, Striker, who's done up in gold.

I can't speak firsthand for Cohrada, but if you like Snake-formers, I'd suggest Beast Machines Night Viper. I LOVE that mold, and he doesn't get the appreciate that he should.

Got TAV Bumblebee in the mail today from Amiami! Honestly, I'm a little let down. He's pretty much identical to Hasbro's (which I knew) but I did want those added details. Problem is, he wont transform properly. I can get him 99% of the way to car mode, but those doors don't peg in right. Not like my Hasbro Bee. But oh well, he'll stay in bot mode and swing two swords

Never say never. I thought I would never buy those platinum insecticons for the price TRU was asking. But some guy got them as a present and didnt want them, so he sold them locally for 50$. No shipping, no tax, all mint, perfect! I jumped and snagged them.

One thing that kind of sucks about the way TRU is doing things is that the security measure has these tight straps that render the box in a crappy state. At least that made it easy to just take them out and throw away the box. Those energon cubes rock by the way!

Man, after hearing about everyone's Kijiji deals a few months ago. Lemme tell ya I haven't found jack s%^!. The only good things that have popped up were priced like 3-4 times what they were actually worth. Do some research people and price things accordingly! :BOOM:

I picked up Thundering online. Cool figure, if smaller than he should be.

I found Roadbuster for half off at Marshall's. They had Whirl and Brainstorm as well, but I already have both of them.

Ha! There was a guy selling G1 razorclaw without weapons for 100$ or something. Thats how much platinum predaking cost me! He eventually wisened up and its currently listed at 15$, but still with no one wanting him.

Discounted probably not, but pretty certain we'll see him one day. All the pre combiner wars generations figures were out like 6 months after their time in the US. And we JUST got Roadbuster and Skybyte at TRU, so I would give this guy time. I also think we will see Arcee and CHromia eventually.

Yup, I like it. It's not awesome, but he's MASSIVE, heavy, and breathe power in both mode. The bot mode is kibbelly as fawk, but he look like Optimus just murdered a poor mammoth and he's wearing it's bloody carcass! :twisted:

He's my favourite beast Prime simply due to how amazing he looks in bot mode (he looks like Prime so much!) and the amazing alt mode they chose for him. For a line known for animals, it is baffling how the popular zoo animals werent well represented in the US line (no giraffes and a piss poor elephant) but the Japanese line kicked all sorts of ass. This is the only decent elephant mold we ever got and he's a freaken mammoth!

So, why is he not awesome?

For me, a transformers is AWESOME when it get everything right, without any possible complains...

I should have said, Big Convoy is not PERFECT. Because he IS freaking awesome! He's in a prime display place in my living room as proof.

So, to rephrase, he's not perfect. He's kibbly but at least the kibbles work so it's not too bad. However, his transformation is very fiddly so I will not transform him often. Was it worth the 33$CAN with free shipping? HELL YEAH! Any Optimus and/or Beast Wars fan would be nuts to pass on him at such a low price!

Yup first ever. It was such a revolution that in this person's review of the next Prime release, which was Fire Convoy, he found it a bit dull that he didnt have a removeable Matrix.

Most prominant of his features is of course the silver chrome Autobot/Cybertron symbol on his chest. Flip it open and you reveal a "Matrix" like chamber. This isn't terribly exciting compared to the removable Matrix of Big Convoy, but it is still nice to see this feature incorporated in some way to this large robot.

Also, Kanrabat, I recommend you take a look at the details. It is fascinating how he appears symmetrical but there are tons of details that change from one side to the next like the missile holes on his shoulder pads, his arm and shoulders, his chest, the inner chest chamber, his thighs, ect. So much detail on this literal behemoth. And he has trunk, ear and tusk gimmicks :KREMZEEK:
