Imagine my surprise when I go to get a package I was expecting only to get 2! TFCC Nova Prime has apparently been sitting in my office's Post Office has had it mis-labelled for someone else for 2 months!

this guy is 100% complete box etc
Voyager class: mindwipe , rotf ratchet, sea spray,
all these where 100% complete box etc
Deluxe class: teradrive, hail storm, 100% complete loose
and only the cybertron red alert was misb and all thes where 100% complete

Opinions? thoughts?

Well, that was one hell of a trip.

12 hours down, 13 hours back, (damn you, Google Maps/GPS! DAMN YOU HARD!) terrible heat and humidity and only one whole good day during the trip to Virginia Beach...

I did find me some gems:

Chesapeake Target:

Deployers Drift and Fracture x2 (1 Fracture came home with me)
Mini-Cons (one of each came home with me) Divebomb, Dragonus, Sawback and Slipstream

Virginia Beach TRU/BRU: (Lynhaven Mall, I believe?)

Legends Skywarp and Thundercracker (to complete my trio!) Rodimus sold out, one Warpath and two Grooves left.

I must say, I wasn't sure about the Deployers, as a figure design, but Fracture is really nice. There's literally no reason to buy the Drift one outside of his Mini-Con, but Fracture? His shoulder/back mounted pod actually makes sense in both modes. Not to mention, he has a rather impressive range of motion considering the gimmick.

He won't be striking any poses on the catwalk any time soon, but he has enough that you could get an action shot out of him with your camera. Pretty impressive considering he has a giant launcher strapped to him at all times.

The price wasn't too bad, either. It was exactly the price of a Deluxe ($14.99) and a Mini-Con ($4.99) together at $19.99 in one package, so you're not out anything extra. Honestly, Fracture has about the same articulation as some Deluxes do now, so I'm definitely happy with my purchase.

The Mini-Cons, Fracture's only so far, are rather neat. 1-Step transformation done right. I'd still like to see a Warrior/Deluxe Class version of Fracture (rumor is we're receiving one), but this would suffice just fine. It's also rather neat to launch the 'Cons all over the place. They fire out nicely.

You're a late comer in the TF game, right? Especially for movie figures it seem. If so, it's a great way to get back at these great molds! All of them had amazing reviews and if you got them at retail price or lower, it's even better!

Try to get your hands of Leader Starscream and Human Alliance Jazz from HFTD if you hadnt already. Those guys are the cream of the crop of movie figures. Also worth mentioning are Movie 2007 Gears, DOTM Leader Ironhide, DOTM Human Alliance Soundwave, ROTF HA Barricade, HFTD Battle Blades Bumblebee and the ROTF Optimus Prime Leader mold (all variants).

Unless there is a figure you desperately need, hold off the Ebay. None of them are rare and they all went mass retail. Keep an eye open for garage sales, classified, Goddwill, or even retro toy conventions.

Half of the fun is in the hunt!

I found RiD mega 3-step Optimus Prime today. His looks are retro-awesome and worth it, but the mechanism feels somewhat loose.

, you just got the best movie figures all in one go! I would suggest you get Skystalker and Breacher to go with your Mindwipe and Seaspray, and like Kanrabat said, that ROTF Leader Prime and Leader Starscream would go really well with your Leader Class Sentinel Prime. Have you tried transforming him yet? That Sentinel Prime is one of the most complex and detailed figures ever.

im certainly going to be on the look out for Skystalker and Breacher. No i haven't tried Sentinel Prime but i look as him/his manuel and i know what you meen XD. I do have movie leader prime i think it is the rotf one but i don't have starscreem yet.

So, you've got that covered. Did you had a hard time transforming him back in the day? Is it hard now?

For me, I was completely baffled even with the instructions. Took me at least an hour. Now, I can do it in 10 minutes without instructions. One of the longest and most epic transfomation ever.

yes i did have issues but it only took my a hour to fully figure out also i edited the post you replayed to added more stuff text wise

wtf Shadow Command Megatron selling for 200/400$s and i have never transformed him just took him out of the box and put him on display
