You got it for 35$...![]()
Granted, that was years ago, but still...
Dig out your closets and attic/basement. You may have several other treasures like that that you are not even aware of!

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. I swung by a TRU on my way home today.
william-james88 wrote:Also, since you asked for the value, Shadow Command Megatron is only worth alot if he is still in his box. Outside his box, he is just over 100$US:

On big ticket items, like these rarer ones and all the G1 stuff, the difference between loose and MIB is huge.

hmm i wonder i do have ever thing that the box had so i could rebox him with all his original bubble twisty tie things that held him in and keep him in place and from moving about in his bubble in his box would that affect it at all?
lol i keep all of my stuff twisty ties oringal tape on the box to such a dgree that i could box it up with all of his oringal stuff it would be very hard to tell if he was opened or not to the point where i would half to say opened in the discrepion
i even peel off the take in such a way to keep all the adheavsive looking mint on the sticky side of the take lol i have a bit of ocd when unboxing

No. A toy is either mint in sealed box or it isn't (as far as being complete and like new and all). You could repackage it to look like it was never removed and then sell it saying it is mint in box but that would be dishonest. It's up to you and your conscience. But if I were you, I would just be glad that you have a beautiful toy in like new condition that you only paid 35$ instead of 400$ for. That's how I look at it.

Oh I know, and I understood you very well when you said you would mark that the box was opened and that he was removed in a listing. That is very good of you. I just meant that it would still be considered similar to out of the box and thus the only way you could get more than just that amount would be to be dishonest. Which you arent doing and thats very good.
Some transformers can be worth more if they are loose and have their box, but that is more for G1 Transformers.
But like I said, just enjoy your toy instead of selling it. Your toys is still just as rare and wanted. I am sure many collectors here can confirm that there are a few toys we sold in our younger years that we regret selling. I love my collection so much that if I sold it tomorrow, I would simply use all the money I made ot buy it back

Thats an awesome story and a great reason to cherish him. Once again, congrats on your haul and on those very first purchases. You found of a way of getting the cream of the crop in the movie line!

That is one of the best car transformers ever made, Congrats! Did you know that this mold was the starting point for his MP?
For a lost light crew, did you consider Cloud Rodimus?

-I got all three FOC (best video game ever) seekers: Skywarp, Thundercracker, and Starscream (any recommendations for realistic versions?)
-Legends Rodimus
-Leader Ultra Magnus (my new favorite Transformer!)
-FOC Bumblebee- he seemed to be the best G1 inspired bumblebee but does anyone have a recommendation for a realistic Bumblebee and not FoC?
-FOC Grimlock
-FOC Jazz- any recommendations for a realistic Jazz?
-CW Leader Megatron
-CW Rook- I haven't opened him yet because I can't tell if I like him enough
-Legends Skywarp
-Legends Starscream
-CW Deadend
The next figure I really want is the Combiner Hunters three pack. Those three figures look great.

I don't get it. What do you mean "any recommendations for a realistic" something? Do you mean with an Earth based altmode only? Classic G1 accuracy? Realistic as it was portrayed in the Bay movies?
Please answer before I recommend anything.
