Ooooooh you're in for a ride! :D

I don't own that one specifically, but MPs are tasty treats.

I'm nervous I'll want to get more of them now. LOL! I think my policy will be, if there isn't a preexisting generations version of the character that I like a lot, then get MP. Otherwise, I'm going to be dumping tons of money to get all of these beautiful figures.

Also, still waiting for classics Starscream to arrive. Should be any day now.

I'm still looking for a Bumblebee. The Reveal the Shield is growing on me, but I'm also tempted to get a masterpiece Bumblebee. Which one is better, the new G2, or the original masterpiece Bumblebee? I'm interested in getting a G1 accurate Bee. Would the new Bumblebee be fitting for G1 if I applied the G1 Autobot symbol instead of the G2 sticker? Also it would be my first masterpiece, so would it fit with generations figures? What would you guys recommend?

Jetfire was only called Skyfire in the G1 cartoon. Both his G1 toy and comic appearance called him Jetfire. As for Bumblebee the MP Bee is a FANTASTIC figure but I personally don't think it fits in with generations very well. He's a little shorter than your average deluxe. The G1 version comes with Daniel in the exosuit which I presonally really like and the G2 comes with a jetpack instead but is cheaper. For a Bumblebee that will fit in with generations I'd advise any version of the Classics mold or the Thrilling 30 Legends Bumblebee (for that one I'd advise the Toys R Us evolution 2 pack from AoE).

EDIT~ How did I miss the post saying you ordered G2 Bee. whoops. :HEADHURTS:

No problem Railbomb! I appreciate the advice. For now, this Bumblebee is going to have to do. While it will probably look kind of funny (like a guy in a tuxedo at a semi-formal dance), he appears to be a gorgeous figure and I hope he will at least fit in a bit with my Generations collection. :D

Is there a forum that is dedicated to Masterpieces? I'm interested in learning more about them. Also, is there a forum where folks discuss their top favorite MPs? I want to know which are the best. Thanks!

There are single threads for each MP figure, as they're that good and worth discussing. Just browse around the Toys Discussion sub-forum!

As for a top MP thread, I don't think we have one yet - if you can't find anything, feel free to start one yourself. :D

We actually have a worse MP thread, so you can add some positivity in starting a "best" MP thread (the answer is MP Lambor and Wheeljack by the way ;) ).

http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/worst-masterpiece-transformer--t102549.php

There is also a buddy of ours who is working on a top Masterpiece list to help out new fans who are curious about this line.

The way I started branching out in my collection was relying on this thread here:http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/what-is-the-best-transformers-toy-in-terms-of-design-t74106.php

I just wanted to have some fun and discover nice toys that I shouldnt miss out on and that thread really helped me, you will see how I slowly become more and more active in it. It is a bit long but it is the best guide to the best TF figures around online, guarantee.

Not sure, as I pre-ordered it. I've never purchased an "in-stock" item from them. My guess would be they are sleeping, so probably tonight while you are sleeping.
This is my first order from them, so I'm learning the process too. I will tell you this. He shipped from Japan over 3 weeks ago. He made it to a sort facility in NY and sat for 10 days. He finally showed up in USPS tracking again yesterday. I know I am being an antsy giddy impatient little kid about it, but it is taking forever! I used SAL shipping which is super economy shipping, but if you can spring for EMS I think he would take about 3 to 5 business days. Good luck!

@Cary - I'm sure I will be taking lots of photos of these CW fellas. Do you want comps with their CW mold cousins or with their CHUG cousins?

William-James- thanks, and good to know. As I said earlier, I'm nervous I'll end up buying all of them and go broke. How do you decide whether to get a MP or a Geneations figure?

Cobotron- thanks for the info. I just checked my confirmation email and
It said I chose EMS shipping. I have no clue what that even is or if it's going to cost me an arm and a leg, but 3-5 days sounds great especially from Japan.

Warning: MP G2 Bee have a FACEPLATE, making him really not like the original. For me, the best Bee to go with Generations would be the Legends one:

It's a great figure with the most "G1" bot mode and altmode. Scalewise, it will fit very well with Generations deluxes and voyagers for the minibot he's supposed to be.

Don't worry joep, G2 Bee comes with all 3 face plates. So you can choose to be G1 toy or toon accurate.

I agree with Kbat that the Gen bee goes really well with the Classics line. For me Bee should be mini. I remember you didn't like him as much. He looks a lot like the WFC/FOC Bee toy.

Nice haul K!

I really appreciate how much you guys have all helped me with getting into Transformers. I truly do appreciate the time you all take with your responses.

I think that for now this MP Bumblebee is going to be THE Bumblebee in my collection. I don't plan on making a separate collection for MPs. As I said before, I'm only going to get MPs if there isn't already a Generations version that I like unless it's one of my favorite characters and the price is right (Bumblebee fits both of those criteria). I think that I may eventually get the Reveal the Shield Bee because I like the black stripes. While I do agree that the legends Bumblebee is most size accurate, I like having a bit more complexity to my figures. I hate complex transformations though.

I actually just recently ordered the Reveal the Shield Jazz because that figure looks near perfect.
My MP wish list is: Starscream, Jazz, Cliffjumper. That's it for now. I would love Optimus but I have to draw a line somewhere and he is just too expensive for me.

You can never have too many Bee's right... right? The RTS Bee is a really cool figure. He is a fun figure with just enough complexity to be interesting, but not take too long to transform. His trailer accessory is pretty neat too.

He is a hansom guy and a fun TF to boot. I snapped a photo of him just this weekend, actually.

How do you find him Va'al? Isnt his transformation really awesome?

I myself got quite a haul waiting for me when I got home. Ok, so we will start small.

I got my autograph from Richard Newman the voice of Rhinox. He had made a sort of indigogo campaign and I wanted to help out.

Image

I also got TAV 21 (Optimus) and Jazz. I really like how Takara is really pushing for this line, trying to make it stand side by side previous lines by offering great paint apps and a serious yet fun Transformer that is TAV 21. They really are treating this line as collector oriented as possible for a kids line and this is quite an amazing transformer. I always love when they try to replicate the show model's transformation and like with women, I preffer real kibble chests over fake ones.

Image

And lastly, the greatest haul of all. Waiting for me when I got home from work was my newborn baby that was finally released from the hospital. I wanted to pose it with some TFs but the wife said no.

Haha, thanks guys! And Kanrabat, I love that game series (my favourite is the third).

The Transformation wasnt bad, you just have to do things in order and it all works out. The only thing is that the illustrations and images show no space between the trailer and the cab (the grey pieces that turn into his feet), but mine always has a space.

Yup, love some MGS, but couldn't get into the third. Too much micro managing. This isn't the right thread, but I'll ask a quick question. Anyone signed up for the Phantom Pain yet? If you're interested, we can continue this discussion here.
