Yeah, I ended up getting Bruticus as well, except for jet-off. I'll be waiting for the inevitable real Blast off to be released.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking of doing. I really wasnt hot for Hasbro's or Bruticus as a whole. With only one new mold and that whole Blastoff ordeal he wasnt high on my priority list. But I like Combiners and I dont have any other Bruticus. I was thinking of going for Takara but I didnt like the paint job done on quite a few of them, I wasnt fond of how UW Blastoff turned out especially with the tease that did not represent what we ended up getting, and I didnt care for the feet and fake chest, nomatter how more accurate it would be. So I just waited to see how things would go. And things went pretty well. I got a whole bruticus in one day by going to 2 stores (with another set of limbs, both were the only ones recieved in the stores and I had to ask for them to check in the back which worked out well ) and that was fun But to be honest I would not have paid more than I did for him, especially not close to 3 times the price to import Takara's (Amiami packages get hit with customs more often now that they only give you the registered option). I will write about my opinion on the figures themselves elsehwere when I have a bit more time

Then its awesome that you nabbed this Bruticus then Will. Blast-Off being the main draw for UW, if you've no love for him then its great that you were able to nab CW's for such a price

I still need Vortex and Onslaught for Bruticus here. Really wishing I could get UW Vortex and Blast Off, I'd prefer either Swindle. UW Onslaught and Brawl is a no. I really wish they'd drop the prices or even have a sale for once! I haven't been to TRU since the sale so I don't know if they also dropped prices here. Maybe when Titans Return comes around here they might.

On another note I got Groove and Wheeljack.

Hey man, that is a decent haul. Defensor is my favorite combiner and my favorite combiner wars combiner to date. He is a great toy! I have him on my desk currently. Just saying: Rook works best as an arm.

Also, to make my post relevant, I managed to out-smart someone on Ebay in an auction this afternoon and won a Generations G1 Drift. He'll be here next week!

Curious, how much did you score him for?

$77 and some change shipped for all six protectobots. 3 of which were still MISB. 20 bones cheaper than shelf price. At first I thought about doing an immediate turn around sale on him, but I'm gonna wait till I get ahold of deluxe Groove before I make a final call.

It's not a bad combiner, but Superior still gets my vote for favorite.

I picked up a CW Legends Warpath today. Originally planned on passing on him, but I was able to get him for a couple bucks at Target. They price matched Amazon and I had gotten a $5 dollar gift card from other purchases today so I went ahead with it. Nothing to lose at that point! Almost picked up a Wreck Gar too, a figure I have no real interest in since I'm not overly fond of the Legends Groove mold but those colors pop. Really bright and pretty.


Anyway, back to Warpath. Wow. He's got one hell of an impressive transformation for a legends figure. I had no idea he had turret swivel and tilt in alt mode. I'm really happy I took a chance at him. My only gripe is his little bitty head. I feel like it could have been a little bigger. Oh well, I still love the thing!

In Canada, we did away with one dollar bills and two dollar bills, all we have instead are coins. So the way it works now is that we just have to aim for the coin slot. Its tricky, but you get used to it.
