It's been AGES since I ordered anything from BBTS. Because whenever I bought anything of value, this Canadian was raep'd by heavy custom fees.

So I bought only two things on super clearance. Impossible Toy Bee-Bite and Dark Energon Knock-Out. Total: less than 13$US plus shipping.



Knock-Out will be for my sealed-on-card collection while Bee-Bite was a "why not" purchase.

Bee Bite is a lovely bot. A nice modern take on G1 Bumblebee. The transformation is very similar to the G1 original but with some twists. My only gripes are lack of better heels and the gun should have been white or something because it become invisible in his hands.

Just as I got home from Target, where I bought TR Topspin and Kup (on a whim), my MP Dirge was waiting for me.

I assume this is a KO for the price I paid (£18.99) but seems very high quality. Not a big fan of Masterpiece figures since I don't generally go for cartoon accuracy or high prices for often flawed figures I'm too scared to actually play with in case they break so the price here was very nice. Always had a lil soft spot for Hot Rod and his flamey design so figured why not.

Transformed it without needing the instructions. Think I did it right.

Please move if this is indeed a KO and if there's a KO haul thread (I couldn't find it)

Yes. I didn't even realise MP28 Hot Rod did since he doesn't turn into Rodimus Prime.

Ah cool! Even better value than I thought cos I realised a while back it would be useful to have a Matrix around but I didn't have one and was gonna buy one. Sorted.

Also have that oversized Gen Arcee with the removable backpack coming to pose with this Hot Rod and I've got (official) Generations Springer who will FINALLY be in scale with a Hot Rod and Arcee in my collection.


Tomorrow I have TLK Voyager Megatron and a cheap Titans Bumblebee arriving together. Both ARE official.

TrU love it's TF sales!
But once again, the shelves are barely stocked. They had the latest wave of TR Legends so I finally grabbed Bee. Among two Mindwipes, a lone TR Hot Rod. So I grabbed Roddy. I'll try them both later but I can guess these are good toys.

EDIT:
Bee is not quite good, but not as bad as Wheelie. The roof section pop off too easily and as everyone say, the colors are not constant over the figure, making him look dumb. The red repaint would be the better choice if not for my Bee hive.

As for Hot-Shot, WOW. Incredibly good. May be even better than the classic version. The only fault is the head have a hard time turning due to almost no clearance between the leg peg of the headmaster and the backpack. Other than that, it's a fantastic figure.

I would say that while it's odd, wouldn't complain since 7 quid for a TLK Deluxe is impossibly good.

On the other hand, TLK Bumblebee sucks

Well it's still a good mold but I already have the much better AoE version and had painted extra details on that too. I did think about selling this one on eBay for a bit less than usual TLK Deluxe prices but i felt bad so just called Kapow Toys and let them know and I'll send them back this TLK Bee and they'll send the correct one and cover the postage costs. I only ordered Titans Bee cos it was cheaper than usual and just wanted a look at it in hand and was already paying £5 postage for Megatron to get him today.

Jet mode is very nice and everything tabs in securely. Always good. And again I love that they made flight stand ports an almost universal standard in TFs in recent years.




The owner of that Figma stand wants it back. Oddly this combo does not look as silly as I thought it might.

Ended up getting TLK Voyager Optimus Prime. Pretty happy with it mostly. Reminds me a bit of AoE Galvatron in the transformation steps, just a bit more to do with it. Overall I was pretty pleased with it.

A small car boot sale haul today.
RGB Egon Spengler - odd cos I had possibly my second ever ghostbusters related dream last night
AoE Power Battler Crosshairs- fun toy. bit weird it has both sides of the car painted when the deluxe lacks one side.
G1 Red Alert - who was hiding among hundreds of toy cars, a true robot in disguise. Just missing his spoiler. Never had him when I was a kid but had Sideswipe so this Lambo mold is quite nostalgic for me.

Egon was 20 pence. Crosshairs 25 pence. Red Alert 30 pence.

Congrats on your car boot sale finds. I went to something similar today but the prices were far from being that good. It was the standard 5$ per gobot price. Not terrible, but not amazing. Anyways, this is what I got for $15

There was a MP Bumblebee box on my local TrU shelf for WEEKS. The box was beaten down and was visibly open before. Furthermore, the content was rattling like a maracas inside. Labelled on clearance at 69.98$CAN. Plus taxes.

For some reason, it just wouldn't sell.

Despite already having the Takara version (paid 130$CAN because of exchange rates, shipping, and surprize hefty custom fees) I decided to take my chances.

I took the box and asked a manager if he could cut me a deal so that he can finally get rid of the thing.
He removed the security "bondage" from the box and he opened it for inspection. the content was a mess. Spike's limbs were torn off the balljoints (obviously) and Bee was in "wrecked mode". A.K.A in car mode, transformed with "fokkitall".

I could tell at a glance nothing was missing but I made a show to cringe theatrically.

In the end, the manager made me an offer that I just couldn't refuse.
