I would NEVER be comfortable with a find like that. You never know what could have led to that. Someone might have had to the bathroom urgently, or forgot him in the panic to get on the bus before it left... And then they'll go back for him, only to find someone else stole him and they'll likely never get him back. Which is the worst feeling.

You had BETTER do Google searches to keep an eye out for "Lost MP Optimus Prime" posts.

And if your response is "Finders keepers, losers weepers"? Then you're not fit to own so much as a broken knockoff.

Thanks to a surprise Amazon.ca sale, I got the Kingdom Grimlock and Mirage 2 pack.

Grimlock is better in person than on pictures.
As for Mirage, I sold it to my friend.

Of course the kid should have been more careful, but that doesn't give someone the right to just take it just because it was lost.

Personally if I saw it while I was heading into the store I would have just left it with customer service and asked them to call me if nobody claims it (unlikely they'd bother, but hey, I wouldn't have any less than I started with). A $150 Target exclusive found in a Target parking lot, that's not an abandoned figure left by a kid, that's a collector royally screwing up. It's not unusual for people to open things in parking lots so they don't have to trash the packaging at home. They probably got distracted (maybe their phone rang, they have kids or something) or were in a rush and didn't realize the figure didn't make it back into their bag when they threw away the packaging. There's any number of ways this can happen, same way people leave stuff on top of their car roof before driving away, but I highly doubt it was left there on purpose.

For the record I would have also taken it inside and given it to customer service.

Having said that, it's a personal choice and if someone else didn't do that, they have the choice to do so. Bottom libe, the loss is on the owner of the figure. That person should have bern more careful, especially considering how much it costs.

I agree full heartedly with all of this, including your personal choice. And that's what it's all about. There are no laws or rules for this sort of stuff, so the idea is just to do whatever one is comfortable with and we shouldn't judge either way (it doesn't affect any of us).

Now here is my haul, FINALLY found a Galvatron with the right shoulders. Plus now I have Thrust so I can see if I have to rework my top 5 Thrust list before publishing it

Yeah I've been seeing Galvatron getting restocked at my Target. I have 1 with the bad shoulders, but I think these newer ones I see have them fixed. I'm kinda split on whether to do a swap or not. The shoulders don't bother me much, and I never returned something just for that reason before, even though technically it's a defective product.

Yeah you could buy the newer one and return the old one using that new receipt to say it's a defective product. Target wint lose money on it. Just make sure you stick the words "defective" inside the box so that they don't pit it back on shelves.
And proving it's defective is rather easy since the forearms can't peg into the shoulders when they are at the proper height.

Probably my last purchase of this year- G2 Ramjet!

He's pretty cool. I love the colours and the jet mode is amazing. Robot mode is alright, the articulation is a bit mediocre but not atrocious and the bricky body is less bothersome in person. That said, the transformation (specifically those godforsaken forearms) is a bit of a chore, largely due to the decision to take the Classics Seeker mold and remove all the sliders from it.
Overall I like him but I'm definitely glad I got the mold as a Conehead rather than one of the "important" Seekers. I definitely prefer the Siege mold as a toy.

For me, G2 Ramjet is "Earth Mode" Hotlink. Or Hotlink is Cybertronian G2 Ramjet. Same thing with Sparkless Seeker and Sandstorm. Also added some :G2CON:

to seal the deal.

Thanks to an Amazon.ca sale, I finally got my hands on the Jurassic Park set. 108$can for the set instead of 155$can. Meaning normal retail price for a normal deluxe and leader. Sweet!

From the same sale, my friend got the Siege 3 pack of invisible Mirage, Impactor, and the Powerdasher Aragon for 60$can. He hates the WFC partsformers so I traded my old TLK Crosshair for it.

My friend was missing the SS Crankcase to complete his dreads. Not pictured, I found it for cheap so I secretly threw it in the Siege box. For all the help he provided, he deserves a bonus.
