Got my Ganbo Vortex yesterday, and picked up my MISB Micron Densetsu Crystal Convoy from the Post Office. Which I promptly deflowered. I haven't opened the inner bubble because I'm afraid of the plastic cracking like magnusalpha's Fire Guts Convoy did.

I also bought DevastaTTor's Pepsi Prime (thanks man!)

It's been an expensive three or four weeks.

Hit Wal-Mart and they really didnt have much I wanted, so I snagged a couple I was less interested in:
ROTF Breakaway (Dark Variant) - They still had the same one for the last week,.... so I grabbed him ^^ He needed a nice home ^^ Man he looks awesome, the color isnt just darker, but almost copper-ish in color. def recommended ^^

ROTF Scalpel - I can see why people's legs break on him, they are very brittle feeling. Mine is now, and forever will remain in Microscope mode (Looks better that way anywho ^^)

ROTF QC Optimus Prime - Great lil guy, just need the QC Jetfire now to gattai to Power-Up Optimus Prime ^^

Got my Ganbo Vortex yesterday, and picked up my MISB Micron Densetsu Crystal Convoy from the Post Office. Which I promptly deflowered. I haven't opened the inner bubble because I'm afraid of the plastic cracking like magnusalpha's Fire Guts Convoy did.

Based on the smaller cracks I found inside the knee joint, I would say that the plastic was fractured during some point between manufacture and boxing at the factory. While the semitransparent plastics are technically somewhat more brittle that most others, I really don't think that was the cause of my unfortunate break. The somewhat more fragile substance combined with an external force was the problem.


Based on the look of Crystal Convoy, I'd say he's made from the same stuff as Crystal Rodimus, who is quite durable feeling in my hands. The plastic used for Fire SL Grand Convoy's knee is the sort of smoky plastic that's different in composition.

Nice I need to get the Crystal Hot Rod in the future. No, its not werid that you like the boxes, I like all the Japanese styled boxes bc it has a unique feel to it. I miss the G1 style box, the ROTF boxes are too generic for my taste.
