Picked up RotF Brawn. Despite his movieverse looks he'll be replacing E Strongarm as the stand in Brawn on my Classics shelf. Really impressed with the toy, in a way that I'm just not with the vast majority of movie releases.

I've had the dark one since February, and of the three or four other times I saw him on the shelf, he was the dark version. The light version seems much rarer in my experiences.

I'm thinking of getting Encore Metroplex very soon, and is the quality that bad? if so, maybe i should pass. My friend has the Encore Bruticus and he is not very happy with it. Whats your opinion on them?

As quality goes they're actually not bad. Onslaught does indeed have (minor) signs of mold degradation, like flash, but to the casual observer it's easily overlooked. Mine did have excess plastic in a hole in the back of a leg though. Swindle feels a bit unsecure with the legs, but it may be a problem with previous uses of the mold. Mind you, I'm never a fan of telescopic limbs (my Hot Spot and Blades have worn out), but it deserves a mention. The rest of the Combaticons all feel solid, plus the combining weapons are nice, and the reinstated launcher on Onslaught make up largely for their shortcomings. If you can get him for cheap, go for it, look for an extra Onslaught if you must One thing though: the dual-barreled cannon on Onslaught is misassmebled, the bracket should face the opposite direction (empty space forward).

Metroplex is really nice, though you have to be careful when playing with him. As you probably know, the waist is paperthin compared to the chest and I'm always scared to break him in two. Some of the stickers are hard to apply due to location (waist), but he's every bit as good as the original I'd say. If I had to nitpick, the locking mechanism on his left arm doesn't feel so secure (did I mention I don't like telescopic limbs?).
The scale tips slightly in the Encore's favor by the fact Slammer the tank can now be transformed completely. In the original, only the main body formed a tower, but in the Encore the turret turns into a separate tower thanks to an extra peg.

Thanks for clearing this up for me JelZe GoldRabbit, if my friend sells his Bruticus i might consider it, but since i have all the G1 orginals with metal bodies except Swindle (i think he sold himself for cash...lol) and 1 or 2 parts missing which im sure i can find on ebay or a flea market to complete my combiners.

About Metroplex i would say he was one of my favorite as a kid and wish i still had the orginal(dont we all) but a Transformer vendor i know is giving me a pretty hefty discount on Metroplex and i will be ordering him very soon!

If you already have the original and a metallic one to boot you're not missing much, especially since Encore Bruticus is all plastic. Encore Metroplex is the metal and rubber wheels variety, curiously enough...

Finally got Animated Arcee & Ratchet for a great price, thanks to Kibble!

Only opened Arcee so far, but so far so good, aside from some minor paint flaws and a factory scratch. Very slight stress mark on one thumb out of the package, I'm not even going to try putting the swords in there until they're modified. She's a pretty good figure anyway, looks great in both modes. I actually prefer her with the wings unlike some. I was also very pleasantly suprised to discover she's the matte variant.

Picked up a supreme cybertron Starscream minus the keys for $5 at a yard sale today. Expecting the War for Cybertron Optimus Prime and Bumblebee tomorrow. Early next week I should get the alternity seekers and brave thunderbaron and also saberhawk to go with my sky saber to make pegasus saber. Good times.
