I went into TJ Maxx today and picked up a bunch of ROTF figures. Here they are:

My Mastermind Creations Commander arrived today. I was originally going to preorder Annihaltor, but switched when I saw Commander for $30 less. I had slight regret until the figure arrived. The colors look great for a train, and are distinctive from my other Convoys. I am really quite glad now that I got Rail Convoy in red/blue instead of black.

There are no good angles that he can hold his shield at... and one plug is slightly too small to fit his gun into the barrel of his cannon (it isn't supposed to, I just want it to). But these are minor detractions. LOVE this figure.

ROTF Optimus Prime for $4.

Story behind the price: Somebody returned him to Tuesday Morning, complaining that he 'broke' on her son. After doing the return, I looked him over and noticed that he had come apart, not broke. So, I rebuilt him. Because he was returned for damages, our policy is to mark them as Last Chance and sell them at a reduced price.

I recommend checking your local TM stores, because I've got a feeling a lot of parents will probably be doing this.

Also got a red Rampage from Ross.

Finally tracked down Dirge and Blurr at a Meijers.

Also picked up a legend size Hound. Saw Skullgrin and WFC Cliffjumper at Target, but passed on them. Also finally saw some RTS figs at K-Mart last night, but only Fallback and the blue missile launcher thingy guy (sorry can't remember the name), passed, really looking for less movie-ish stuff.

Trip to Wally netted me a Shadow Blade HA Sideswipe, Fury of Bonecrusher set and a totally random Skullgrin from out of nowhere.

Passed on Starscreams Assault, last thing I need is another Mudflap and the Screamer is not worth it, maybe on clearance for 10
