Past few days picked up the Desert Ruins Brawl Wal-Mart two pack with deluxe Brawl and legends Jolt. Man, the colors on Brawl are very bright and a bit too happy for a Decepticon, but it was only 8 bucks for it and I don't have the Brawl or legends Jolt mold, so good deal in my eyes. Also got the PE-09 Ninja (Rosana) and Protector armor! They are two very nice pieces. Though now that I had my taste of 3rd party items, this hobby o' mine might just get really expensive... Oh, almost forgot grabbed RtS Fallback as well, just so my Animated Arcee could have a pair of black pistols. Must say she does look awesome with them.

FansProject Shadow Scythe came Monday. He's much better than Protector IMO. I do believe he's my first TF related item for 2011 and probably my last for a bit.

Date in The Hague, wife got her nails done, chance to go shopping at a certain import store! I only got one thing though, but procrastinated on him for a long time:
Alternity Megatron (Plate Silver)
My impression on the figure? Like on Convoy, the lower legs could be better, but the rest of the figure is sweet! Originally, I couldn't decide between La Mans Blue and Plate Silver, but the silver won out, because let's face it, silver is the Megatron color. I may get the blue or black one later, depending on who I find first.

I went looking for a second Grimstone, but when I couldn't find it I picked up the blue version of The Fallen instead. I hate the movies, and I hate this figure -as- The Fallen, but he works great as just a monstercon named Geiger.
Cool, his vehicle mode is the perfect size for a (legless) Lego pilot!

I really love these third party transformers companies jumpin on the fan bandwagon! They have been producing neccessary accessories and upgrades for G1 figures and more! I always wondered why my G1 Ironhide and Ratchet did not come with normal robot heads like all the other figures. Without proper heads they looked too much like the GoBots. But little by little thru the years third party companies have kept evolving the head molds for G1 ironhide and Ratchet.
It started with the reissues having a paper cut head versions:

**Then they got upgraded to a real plastic head mold that attached to a slot on the back of the figures. They also were allowed to fold the head down and allow them to stay attached to transform to vech. mode.

**And now the latest upgrade I have find is by a company called GEAR4Toys. Got my set thru BBTS. This upgrade allows the whole figure to look more fuller and what it should have looked like it first came out. It comes with Head attached to a upper chest half attached with more flexible arms. It also comes with hand pistols, an extra light up battery. Yes!!!! One extra cool feature the eyes light up by simply pressing a small button on the back of upgrade.
The only two slight down sides are: 1) You have to use the figures original arms and fold them around to the back of the upgrade pieces and them rest up agaist the piece to keep it attached. The upgrade pieces do not snap on or attach to the slots on the figure's back like the earlier head molds did. 2) These upgrade pieces cannot stay attached when transforming to vech modes. Not that big of a deal though.
Overall I am extremely pleased with the new improved overall look these upgrades give my G1 figures. I love the light up eye feature and the heads do turn a complete 360 degrees around. I highly recommend these latest upgrades if you want to finally give your G1 Ironhide and Ratchet a more fuller robot look!

Pretty cool looking upgrade. I have the earlier ones, but these do look so much better. Too bad they're kind of expensive.

2 toys, 1 week
- Motto: "When did I get this tattoo?"

2 toys in 1 week. That's flonkin' rediculous.
A rich kid says it's not, but heres the thing.
Toy #1: G2 Bumblebee
Faction:
Mood about it:
Comment: My friend sent it to me, so I'm getting it this week or next week.
Toy #2: G1 Scavenger
Faction:
Mood about it:
Comment: It doesn't come with any guns, or parts to transform him into a part of devestator, just the figure. But I'm cool with that. I'm just happy to get it.
I will edit this thing in about a week, when I get both of them, and take pictures of both in my hands, then post it here.
Either that or I'll have a link to an entirely new post. Depends.
Bye now.

I received some more energon cubes today and my iGear Ark/Teletraan set arrived. Traditionally you see Teletraan’s terminal positioned at the back wall but I found that to be a cluster @#$%, so I positioned it elsewhere. Anyway here is a quick snap shot of Soundwave doing what he does best… making energon cubes and the Ark set with Kremzeek giving Cliffjumper a hard time. In the corner ole Rodimus is in the corner shooting the breeze with a Quintesson. I grabbed the iGear set from Super_Megatron who is on Toy Ark, Cybertron.CA and countless other sites.

At Walmart last weekend I found Grimstone. Took it to self checkout and the scanner wouldn't recognize the item. The 'operator' called the toy guy over and his handheld also would not scan it. Since it wasn't in their system yet the toy guy says to me...'How about $6.99'
Uhhhh, OK
