Anyways, hit my local last night and bought three of these. I scored Boltflash, Supressor and Skyhammer.

Skyhammer would appear to be a (albeit slight) variant :D

Image

See the red paint between the two engines at the rear? That is absent on my 12pk and also on the picture at TFU. Interestingly it is present on the "stock-photography" shown on TFwiki, my reference post reflects this and I have classified it as such.

Mine are still bagged, so MR.O could I trouble you to check the colur of the visor on Boltflash, we could be looking for details that small! :D

sorry but your skyhammer isn't a variant, but misassembled, the powerlinx port should be on the underside where the red is.

haven't checked the local Tescos hereabouts (what with the snow, I'd be a bit surprised at them getting deliveries in, but who can really tell?) despite there being one with a petrol station 5minutes away. Next time I'm there I will be picking up a few of these though, so keep us posted on what ones people are after.

also now that we have Mini-Con Sweet figures, can we get Mini-Con Dude figures? 8)
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.

Ok, I've re-edited the reference post and chenged the mistake I made with Skyhammer. I've added "Sample found" to one we have come across so far.

@Mr.O, thanks for checking that visor!

@Dai-Ceefax, have you opened those bad boys yet? We are still missing EIGHT and hopefully we'll be able to get self-verification on any more variants!

I have found Heavy Tread and Flatfoot, no discernable variants that I can see, reference post updated accordingly.

I found a second Skyhammer too, which was misaseembled in the same way as the first one I made the misatke with.

You guys, who have scopped up multiples, any joy yet?

I love the way I've suddenly made a new facet of transformers collecting. I suggest we start calling the practice of searching for these mini-cons "wasping", lol.

Oh yes!
I've just been wasping and got me... Guess what? A misassembled skyhammer!
I'll do some comparison pics and stick em on here asap so all you peeps can see how awfully wrong it is. So wrong it is that you cannot rectify it by popping out the ball joint hips, it's worse, you just can't fix, his whole torso is the wrong way round.
EDIT: scratch that, I have fixed it. It's now identical to te original release.

I'm going to post a step by step guide on how to reassemble your skyhammer tomorrow. I've taken pics and I'll run thru which bits to pop off and where to put them, just incase you couldn't work it out.
I'd be happy to sell him on now I've fixed him, if anyone wants him that is... Skyhammer does seem to be the most common of the 12 from what I've read on here. I've put him back in the bag with his instructions. (I'd be happy to sell him with his sweets too cos they're horrible to me.)

I've picked up seven of these and the only double is Skyhammer, they are both misassembled and yes, the sweet defy logic by sucking instead of being sucked. I think I've got a variant of Blight and the others (Knockdown and Heavytread) are still bagged. Real life is getting obtrusive at the moment but bear with me, as soon as I know you folks will know.

here is my step-by-step guide on how to do what the people at the factory should- correctly assemble your single packed skyhammer!
you'll see two figures in each pic, the 12 pack original is on the left. the single packed one on the right.
Attachments
Copy of 100_1536.JPG
here's what you start with...
Copy of 100_1541.JPG
first, pop off the rudders on the end of the vehicle mode.
Copy of 100_1542.JPG
swap the rudders round so that the little tab you see on the round ends slots into a groove on the red side of the torso.
Copy of 100_1543.JPG
pop off the legs/ wing and cockpit halves too
Copy of 100_1544.JPG
turn the torso round so that the red side is on the bottom
Copy of 100_1545.JPG
start reattaching the bits you took off...
Copy of 100_1546.JPG
there you have it . its now identical to the original

After a spot of "wasping" today at the Tesco in Harlow I can now report that I have found all the remaining Mini-cons, except "Blight".

I have found two further variants :D

First up is "Bodyblock";

Image

Notice what I can only refer to as the suspension (including the hinges on the arms), the original brown paint has been replaced with a much lighter orange.

The second one is a lot more subtle, I'm not sure whether my iPhone Camera will have picked it up. "Cloudraker" has been repainted from his original muddy/military green into a much lighter shade, more reminiscent of Backtrack or TV Magazine Prime. The windows have also been re-done in a shinier silver as opposed to a metallic grey.

Image

I'll wait for some replies before I update the reference thread in case I've made another mistake. Now if only someone could find "Blight".....

Is it just me, or does Cloudraker have remolding done to the top rotors? The Classics Divebomb mold has a single piece rotor, but Cloudraker has a two-piece one.
