I beg to differ on the gun. I'm switching out that bazooka with Siege's.
I don't like the SIEGE version's gun. It has that big ugly bulge in the middle, and while I can tolerate hollow sides they don't look quite as good.

Mind you, Combiner Wars Optimus' rifle is better-looking than either.

I dunno, of the three Siege's rifle evokes the look of the 1984 Laser Rifle (fat or skinny version.) It's not perfect, but the Earthrise version just looks too...large.

Eh.. The SIEGE rifle's middle seems to bulge out too much from the barrel for either the bloated or thin version, and it's too big relative to the butt of the gun for me. The CW version feels much better proportioned to me.

Changing topics a bit, I still really want them to sell blast effects by the bagful... The ones that come with the Battlemasters just aren't enough to properly support the gimmick, especially with the dearth of purple and blue.
WANT:
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

I can get with that. More figures probably should have come with blast effects, anyway. I get cost, cost, cost, but I think I have everything but Singe, Treadfoot and Omega Supreme and if you don't get doubles of figures there really aren't enough to go around.

I don't like the blast effects. Yeah, they might make for a better looking battle scene, but to me they're just in the way when it comes to posing figures on my shelves. I got most of the Siege line, so I have quite a few blast effects from the battlemasters and whoever else had them, and they're just sitting in a bag. If anyone wants them, PM me.

I like them for battle scenes, but I do think they're in the way on display. So I store mine in a Parmesan cheese canister when not in use.

I like the blast effects, but I rarely ever use them. Probably just the once, then to a little container in my drawer of misfit accessories. I would like to see Hasbro sell them and weapons sets though.

I've noticed that the authorization charge comes and goes from my debit account. And if I try to change method of payment to another card I lose any discounts applied to the order.

No, but I used a Red Card which doesn't seem to have temp charges or holds on pre-orders.

I'm in the same boat, and thankful that Target forced me to get a RedCard for Redwing last year.

ImageHas anyone else received an order from Pulse lately? I decided I couldn't wait for Wheeljack and Hoist, and I ain't risking going to Target or Walmart for the rest of this month. And this is the second shipment of Earthrise product to also have a pack of the card game inside.

Honestly, I'm not afraid to go to stores, but I absolutely understand, and respect any who are self quarantining. My job has graciously permitted me to work from home most days, just have to be at my desk one day a week to mail out physical documents. But for once I'm all *caught up* on my Earthrise want list, so since there is nothing I currently want out, I'm slowly saving up to chip away at my backlog of older wants, which can only be obtained via online means anyway. Usually most online retailers have some sort of spring sale, I just wonder if all this craziness will put an end to that.

Also, I'm wondering if there is any demand on the secondary market for ER map pieces? Since I have no intention of getting them all, I figure I might as well sell the ones I have for a modest price...I figure it will save someone who perhaps got a Siege Astrotrain , and don't want to have to by an ER one to get the map piece.

As Scotty P pointed out to me on the Twincast, while I lamented over missing the map that comes with ER Smashdown, that in time these maps will all show up online. In some kind of printable form. But there are collectors out there that would probably prefer the real packaging. I recall the PotP collector cards having a decent resale life on the aftermarket.

I take care of my pops who is 76 and has Parkinson's so the precaution is more for his sake than anything else. And I am now kicking myself for tossing Cliffjumper's map piece as I didn't even think about the secondary market. I see people selling character cards and instructions so who knows.

I actually did back on page 126, all connected to Omega Supreme. I only have 4 (Astrotrain, Prime, Ironworks & Sounbarrier), but that's all I wanted for now.

I totally get that. I have to shop for my mom once a week, otherwise she has in home care/assistance. My wife also underwent Cancer treatments/Surgery last year, so I am extra cautious for both of them, but sometimes you just have to be out to get necessary things done.
