Not officially announced, no, but some leaks that have proven accurate so far have mentioned them, and their jet forms can be seen on Sky Lynx's box art.Rodimus Prime wrote:Have they been announced? The Hasbro team had stated that the Siege seekers were based on the G1 cartoon official character models for robot mode proportions, so it makes sense that they would look the same regardless of alt modes.
Also I dont get how the Siege toys look better, I really dislike the wing underside in robot mode.

Frankly, I still feel like Fire Convoy should have been the Siege Retool of Ultra Magnus. So many of the parts come apart the same way and end up in very similar positions. Not that what we got wasnt a fun version of Cybertron Prime, but it didnt make as much sense to me aa Fire aconvoy would have. And I really want Fire Truck Optimus Prime.
Overload as a Weaponizer would be awesome, but given the "Leader" Primw would be more or less a Voyager with armor accessories, and the playlines value, I think he would have to be a Deluxe. Abd thatwould make him more compatible with other toys than if I was trying to make a Deluxe wear a pair of Voyager Legs as Guns.
More important question: the Base Mode is for Planetfall... Where there is Gravity. But the Ahuttle is standing on end, so who is even getting INTO the thing that way?

You know, maybe a new Fire Convoy would actually share engineering or design cues from Siege Magnus, at least for how the armor attach. The front cab is definitely way too different to really work as a simple retool.

Thrust appears on the box art for SkyLynx...so the bigger question is, has any character shown in promo art not had a toy in that line in recent history?

Uuuuh, not sure. Does Sideswipe count since he was in Siege but was on ER packaging yet, so far, there is no ER Sideswipe?

Maybe Galvatron is a Leader class figure since we have seen him on the packaging. Just a random theory as people expect him to be a Voyager. But what if he isn't?

Speaking of Sideswipe, the unique earthrise art of him we seen at toyfair still puzzles me. It looks like it’s based off MP-12 rather than the siege toy. It probably means nothing though in terms of a future release.

I think that any attempt at Armada Prime would have to be either be a dense, complex Commander, or a more hollow and simple POTP style Leader. I could see a Rodimus Prime style trailer working as a base for Armada Prime's trailer, though obviously without the partsforming arms, and with the COMBAT ports added

I would not put it above Warden's team to have an Earthrise Sideswipe which is a lot more Lamborghini-esque and square/chunky to better fit alongside Sunstreaker. Ah well, no matter, it would make him and Red Alert look different!

The only thing that's upsetting about these guys is that the cardinal sin was committed when it comes to seekers.... having the Deception logo upside down in robot mode on the wings. :'(
I'll probably just get stickers to fix that issue.

Currently of the opinion that all ER stuff awaiting production should be deferred in favor of reissuing the late-wave Titans Return figures except for Overlord, in ER packaging if necessary.
WANT:
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)
We don't have kings in America
Trading MOSC MMPR fliphead Pink Ranger for ER Fasttrack or SIEGE Refraktor

Yeah, I'll go on-record as saying that I wouldn't mind if they didn't "fix" that inaccuracy.
Gotta say, while I like that they have different expressions I'm not a fan of a perpetually screaming TF.

UT remakes might be one of the best ways of Hasbro to keeping using the trademarks,without repeating the same versions of of those names.
An Armada Smokecreen or Cyclonus would be nice.Imagine how cool a new Scavenger would be.
I don't have much experience with the Energon line,but Wing Saber would be a pretty cool Weaponizer and CliffJumper looks cool.
Maybe even remake some figures that would welcome an upgrade like Cybertron Thunderblast.
Day 153 of waiting for Transformers Armada Masterpiece news.
