Not even close.

Are they advanced, though?
Yeah, they got super computers and energy constructs... Which they use to make medieval weapons for dramatic 1v1 duels between their leaders. It's a civil war being fought within a society where everyone is almost impossible to (permanently) kill, half the soldiers still use swords, WMDs are comically impractical,
the best strategic weapons consists of five or six soldiers engaging in a vertical gymnastic orgy, and the most efficient way to defeat an enemy is by literally chewing him up.

A war or conflict can officially last as long as it wants to with periods of peace, until a peace treaty has been signed by all parties involved (the Pax Cybertronia). On Earth we've had a war lasting 80 years, and another that lasted 100 years to give some perspective on how wars can be longer than a person's lifespan. Also, even tho the Korean War "ended" in 1953 in an armistice, a peace treaty was never signed by either country so officially they're still at war.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Sentinel_Primal wrote:Wait... Was the war going for millions of years prior to them crashing on Earth? Cause I always thought it would have been going for like 100 years (which given their longer lifespans would be like 10 or so years I think?) and then they crashed on Earth, and they just added the time in stasis lock for dramatic effect/lack of actual treaty during their time in stasis
Deadput wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:As for the Cybertron analogy, that would mean the WFC events are taking place in present time, not "millions of years ago" like in a lot of other continuities.
I would love to see this for once.
If I could go back in time and change 1 "minor" thing in Transformers it would be to scrub the "million year war" aspect from history, it doesn't work and never has.
A war wouldn't last that long realistically even stretching it for a fictional franchise a million year war does not sound possible when it comes to how "advance" the Transformers are and if so how do Transformers stay active for so long yet are still fighting for resources and draining them, I doubt the Transformers would have as much personality due to being so old and it honestly does not jive when it comes to specific characters like:
"Here's Bumblebee he's the young one, except he's millions of years old and yet doesn't grow as a character until he suddenly does within a short time on Earth)

Considering that this is a Generations toyline subseries of mold redecos/retools, it would be bafflingly bonkers if D-Maximal Primal literally meant Hasbro picking out 16-18-year-old Playskool molds for a collector-oriented line, and not more obviously just taking existing Earthrise molds and redecoing them in homage of the Playskool Go-Bots.sol magnus wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Thoughts on the planets:

I think I can't co-sign the playskool Gobots. There's been nothing to tie that into WFC (unless you mean "Generationsized" Gobots and not actual playskool Gobots).

I forgot about that. The distance travelled through dpace is shorter and therefore takes less time than going the long way round or something. So time on the ark might have been less than time aroumd it or some such. Einstein makes my head hurt-Kanrabat- wrote:Not only that but I think time did flow differently on Cybertron and Earth. A day on Cybertron could very well be just an hour on Earth and a year just a month.
There's also all that time relativity that come with space travel. So with some technobabble, it's possible that the Ark actually flew through time and went to the past while going faster than light. So the Ark went millions of years into the past then crashed.
Eh, same thing did happen with Beast Wars.

Leader-1, Swindle, Crumplezone, and Demolisher's partner all seem doable.
Demolishor's partner's called Blackout.
Don't forget we have at least one Armada-inspired team. The Air Strike Patrol is directly based on the Air Defense Mini-Con Team sans Sonar, heck, Storm Cloud largely reuses Jetstorm's transformation.
