Which ones? And do you want them reissued because you were unable to get them?

A two-pack of TR Topspin & Twin Twist would be nice. Add some red Battlemasters and you're set.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

If he was a leader, would he be a voyager with unnecessary extra junk?

I imagine he would follow the Doubledealer route and just be a more elaborate, chunkier figure with a few extra weapons. DD isn't quite a Voyager in a big box like Astrotrain is.

Galvatron should get the same treatment, but maybe replace the Titans Return figure's spacecraft mode with a "submarine". Either way, if they can make a more elaborate figure at a good scale size he could work as a Leader.

However, my own belief is that they'll make him a Voyager with just the canon mode. Of even more boring, a retool of Megatron.

Gauntlet101010 wrote:Gotta say, while I like that they have different expressions I'm not a fan of a perpetually screaming TF.

Are you sure he's screaming? Maybe it's just dull surprise.

By the way, I think it would be possible to make a nice and still recognizable Armada Side Swipe out of Prime Wars Trilogy Punch/Counterpunch with new arms and head and replacing the Counterpunch fake window chest with a toy accurate one.

Yeah, I think that's what's gonna happen. I'm not sure how exactly, because if they want to be faithful to G1 Galvatron, an H-tank will not work.

Got my first earthrise deluxes and half a deluxe figure today :p

Weirdly I've passed on wheeljack with not liking the square chest shape in bot mode and the way the windshield is pieced together in car mode. Might have to go with a smaller third party wheeljack that looks good in both modes as I can't see any upgrade packs being able to sort Hasbros out.

ER seeker mold's proportion is just too chubby Playskool-ish for me. It's even worse than the old Classics DLX mold. Even though I wish its alt mode is the F-15 instead of the Tetrajet, I just plain LOVE the Siege mold's articulation, I just can't imagine Hasbro can ever top it in that regards. So ER seekers are an easy pass unless Hasbro announce the Coneheads, characters which I never owned.

And it's gotta be all 3 Coneheads or bust.

On the subject of a possible Galvatron - I don't see why it wouldn't be a very accurate Galvatron. They've really gone out of their way to make the most accurate G1-inspired toys to date. Even if they aren't all successes (Astrotrain, I am looking at you).

How odd, my notifications for this topic stopped working :-? Wondered why it had been quiet today. On the subject of Galvatron, I reckon we'll get him in the final part as it would have been around when Unicron is finished, seems like good timing to me.

I feel like I am the only one that actually liked what they went for with potp rodimus and to an extent the resulting figure, and think that it would be cool to see that design spiffed up and reworked under the new increased budget and leader class criteria

While I loved that mold and gimmick, I would rather they do the definitive G1 Rodimus Prime, and try to finish up as many "definitive" G1 characters as soon as possible, simply so we could then move on to less Sunbow, more unique designs that still homage the originals, but add a new flavor to it, like Animated, IDW, and to an extent UT

I feel like the irony here is that in a line where everybody's complaining because leader class is Voyager figures with trailer accessories, what you're asking for here is a voyager figure with trailer accessories.

Honestly, I have to. I totally do a really cool space Winnebago theme parks count as leader class Optimus Prime

They would have to do something with the shoulders, cause having the legs as shoulders is a little funky.

Naw, a gimmick-less CHUG Rodimus need its own mold. Preferably with the proper, snub nosed Space Winnebago mode rather than just Hot Rod with a trailer.

I have to admit, he's not as bad as I first remembered after I broke him out a little while ago. But he's just not quite what I want as my main Rodimus. Too big and not quite proportional.

I have to admit, though, I kinda regret passing on Rodimus Unicronus. May very well grab him.

As neat as Potpie Rodimus was (shoulders attached to its neck, notwithstanding), every piece of fiction that design appeared in did treat it as a sort of powered up Super Mode form instead of Rodimus proper.

I love PotP Rodimus. It's not a perfect toy, but it's amazing for what it is: a 2-in-1 set with Hot Rod and Rodimus and decent likenesses in both robot and alt-mode forms. It's tall, but I think it compares favorably alongside CW Ultra Magnus.

On topic, has anyone published this Target Clones link?
https://www.target.com/p/transformers-w ... A-79446848
It can't be used for preordering, but it does have a sign up for an in-stock email alert.

Does anyone have the same for the Seeker 2-pack? I can't find it via Target or Google.

PotP Roddy is good, but scale-wise he works better as a "Super Rodimus" amongst most Generations figures (he scales nicely with G1 Galvatron though). So I do hope to see a Voyager-with-trailer Leader in WFC at some point. Also hope to see a proper Quickswitch.

Galvatron, I'm personally good with the TR version. If they do make a new/altered Galvatron, I hope he's the same size as that one (which might require the Leader price point, although if they can make him a Voyager then great). As far as having a gun mode, the TR version's starfighter mode looks like one if you turn it upside down and you can also configure him close to the original toy's gun mode. Personally, I prefer the fighter mode because it gives him some more aerial mobility and the gun mode was only used like once in fiction, and even then it was only used to smuggle him.

Now, I do like the gun mode on the G1 toy, but that has the advantage of electronic lights and firing sounds (and it's more comfy in the hand thanks to the size).

Most of 'em really. Misfire, Windblade, Slugslinger, Sky Shadow, etc. And yes - I was unable and the prices on eBay are argh (and Misfire and Windblade are particularly rare). Its funny how some of the Legends versions are more affordable than the Hasbro takes. Perceptor is a great example, I bought my LG version for 25 bucks new in box because I couldn't touch the TR for less than twice that

Perce I at least got off the shelves.

I kinda prefer the TR versions to the Legends ones for the most part because I like the weapons the TR toys come with (and the attendant gimmick) and the Legends Targetmaster Partners have accuracy issues (which wound up spreading to SIEGE; Aimless gets it the worst)... And Windblade and the Jumpstarters essentially come with other characters' weapons at the expense of their own (as does Doublecross). Well, Windblade has the sword from another Windblade toy, but it doesn't go with her properly.

I didn't have a problem with her sword but making her a Titanmaster wasn't thought through enough. Her neck hole is a little too big and neither her Titanmaster nor any other Titanmaster fit good. Don't know if the Hasbro version has the same problem but I can't find that for less than $50 so I won't be finding out myself.

I find that most Titan Masters fit better into the neck ports after their little heads are first rotated backwards.
