Well, I can definitely say I am excited for this game. Tryptcon is all kinds of awesome. I just hope that isn't Megatron's final VA. Frank Welker IS Megatron.

I wish they would have done a similar thing with the movies. I HATE the way the movie TF's look. They could have totally done a more G1 accurate stylizations like this in the movies. If they had, I probably would have been able to overlook some of the awful things about the movies. For example: Why even bother showing Soundwave if he wasn't going to even transform FFS?

I predict this game will be better than either movie could ever hope to have been!

this game fits in my dreams of a violent TF game!
How they made the treatmeants for everyone was nice! specially trypticon as the BIG surprise, but it is sad since, so far as I know, you can't play as him or omega. :sad:

Ok, a few things to say about this:

1. It would have been nice to see if Frank Welker could reprise his role as Megatron

3. Omega Supreme, I saw coming, Trypticon, I DIDN'T see coming

3. I really hope they make a Wii version

Other than that, OH MY GOD I REALLY WANT THIS!!! :grin:

Wouldn't it be friggin' awesome if Hasbro released Trypticon out of that design? Screw the Legends Scourge repaint and the Device Label mouse, we NEED a Supreme class toy of Trypticon!

The game graphics looks fantastic. I'm not fond of Megatron's voice however..and no, I don't want Frank Welker. Give me David Kaye or Hugo Weaving any day...less whiny, more menacing.

Trypticon I did not see coming. Loving it.

Didn't expect the game to ignite the Movie vs G1 argument again. Sad, in a way. Let sleeping bots lie...

Well that was awesome and pretty much what I expected to see. Glad they went with Trypticon so far. I really don't like the look of the Guardian Robot. (Don't think it's Omega, colors don't match very well, and they hips and face look too meh' to be such a prolific character) Tryps on the other hand looks friggin' amazing! Like, I'm actually impressed with how well this new version of him looks.

I love Cullen to death and I'm nothing but a supporter of his, but maybe his voice wouldn't lend itself well to a "young" Prime. However no one really knows for sure if he's some young hotshot or a bad ass Autobot General. Details haven't really been fleshed out in full, ya know? If that's the case sign him up.

I love the decent head shots you see in there too. Prime, Megs, Bumblebee looks just perfect. Ratchet looked impressive, as well Soundwave looked very fanwanky. Any one else notice G2 Skyjack in the bottom left corner of the screen when megs is melon testing that dudes head? Nice to see recognizable drones, and I hope to see more because lord knows the Decepticons have more then enough to go around.

Oh, and how awesome is Prime when he palms a missile outta the friggin air like some sort of Space-Shaq? Ya, I thought it was pretty awesome too.

From A-Apple to Z-Zebra this game looks to be the game to get this year. Have fun not getting played after I buy you FF XIII and GOW3!

One last little lol. Did anyone watch the IGN rewind on the trailer? They think because one of the drones looked blue that it was Trailbreaker. Now I'm MORE then pumped to see a new Trailbreaker in this game, but not if he's blue... unless it's a diaclone skin. :lol:

I guess I'm in the minority that likes Megatrons voice. Remember this game has 2 campaigns, Autobot and Decepticon. The games creators probably want the player to be more sympathetic to the Decepticons side. You know as opposed to the Decepticons = Destroy like in the last couple games we've had. And let's face it, you can't sympathize with Welkers Megatron. His voice is just too...evil. And besides, he doesn't sound the same as he used to. Neither does Cullen. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to have G1 guys, but I actually would have preferred Chalk over Cullen. Not sure if Kaye could make Megatron not sound so malevolent.

Well, yeah, that's obvious (in regards to Wii) but it IS being made for Wii and not just a "high end" console exclusive. I think that's what Grimlock Magnus was asking.

David Kaye would have been an good choice for Megs, but I would have loved to hear Cory Burton. His Animated Megatron is arguably the best sounding Megs ever... with all due respect to the marvellous Frank Welker.

But yeah, the voice of Megs in the trailer is a bit average, but not a game-breaker for me by any means.

The trailer looks so damn sweet though. Clearly these developers have the right ideas. I hope they pull it off when it comes to the execution.

My guess is that Omega is just more recognizeable, has more character, and has always proven to be more mobile than Metroplex.

Ok I wrote that piece, but it is nice segway into my next point: is it just me, or do Optimus and Bumblebee at least look like very realsitc Cybetronian versions of Animated Bumblebee and Optimius? Prime even has the giant axe of doom!

I was planning on looking for a G1 Trypticon, but I'm now hopeful we'll be seeing this version in toy form.

Yeah I know it's a long shot, but dammit I can dream.
