Yeah I never understood that misspelling, but I guess it's because I've seen Rogue spelled in print so often.

But I can understand the other, especially since the name of this site is based the Romanization of the Japanese spelling of Cybertron .

Also just curious, Don't most browsers spell check before posting in this forum? I know when I post from here using Explorer or Chrome it does...Of course it would not catch grammatically if you misspelled one word for another. Also I guess I'm not accounting for tablets or phones, which I almost never use when looking on this site.

Since the revelation of the WFC Siege armor UM was first shown, my excitement and rational thinking hasn't stop. I am so full of exuberant and still can't believe that after all these 32 years, it finally happens. Hasbro finally deliver an armor UM before Takara-Tomy who failed me with the Masterpiece Line/MP22 (love the figure, but lack of a white Magnus, agrr). While we are waiting WFC UM to get release, here's a reminder for all the Armor UM fans:

You give AI too much credit. The computer can spell words "correctly" but it will NEVER care about the context. Unless you run the text through a quality expensive software, you will only get auto-corrected randomly.

That Chromia is an easy pass for me, especially if she indeed has no combiner functionality. The "greebling" on her is just extreme. Ultra Magnus is pretty bad in that regard too. They both look like they soaked too long in the tub and are pruning really badly. The rest of the bots look fine, with just the right amount of tech detailing in their sculpts without it looking ridiculous. Someone just went overboard when sculpting poor Chromia.

First off, love the animated picture, kudos to whoever the artist is.

Secondly, by the time masterpiece um came around, couldn't that be seen as the start of animation first? I mean it is animation accurate isn't it? White prime is toy only.

Now I'll echo sentiments about the combined forms of the micromasters. The military patrol are the clear winners here, followed by the rescue patrol. As for the street patrol...may just have to head canon them into shields and place them accordingly...or just not combine them.

Part of me hopes that they haven't shown any Cons yet because the reveals are going to be super surprising and unexpected, like new characters or updates to non-G1 characters who have historically had Cybertronian-looking alt modes like, I dunno, um...like BM Vehicons, or something, but since we all know Warden refuses to admit characters that aren't from G1/named after someone from G1 exist, it really probably just means that they wanted to show the Autobots first because they're the good guys, and everyone is supposed to love them, and the Cons either aren't finalized yet or are going to get a Con-only reveal like this one at a later juncture, like NYCC.

Or maybe they just forgot, I dunno. I just want to see the Cons too, at this point.

Ditto exept for Magnus. I think it's a BRILLIANT move to mix G1 Magnus while hommaging the RID vehicle. This is one leader that I think I will NOT wait for a sale to happen before buying.


As for any reveals, Apeface and Snapdragon should be obvious at this point. Even if the headmasters would be Micromaster sized. In fact, it would be just PERFECT. Plus the horrorcons do have "cybertronian" vehicle modes.

Yeah, the closest we've gotten to them were the Titanium releases of the seekers back in the day.

The more I think about it, the more I'm looking forward to getting that Magnus. As far as I can tell, the combined robot mode is spot on.

I also think the lack of only serves to get us worked up for them. This could backfire on Hasbro if the figures turn out to be garbage.

Since there are so many chickbots, would it be much of a stretch to get one retooled as Nightbird? Even though IIRC she was never on Cybertron before they came to Earth.

I get where people are coming from with Chromia, but it makes sense why Hasbro are going that way.

This is an all new "trilogy". The previous one started with Combiner Wars and carried through the subsequent two lines. It's had it's run.

This is a new start, so new (rehashed) gimmicks are called for.

I only want to know two things, story line wise is this connected to G1/Prime Wars (I'm hoping it is set post Prime Wars) and where the heck are the 'Cons?

Setting it post Prime Wars and having Optimal Optimus fail as a leader works for me, and the lack of 'Cons may be because whoever has Cybertron under siege is in fact an entirely new party with only a handful of 'Cons (the core group - Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream etc) getting figures.

i wonder what the titan class character will be this time? im thinking Omega Supreme he would fit right in as one of the original guardians but still i wish for Scorponok too
