I'd say something about Brunt's cannon end not being orange in these and how odd that is, but Magnus's gun was also differently painted when Takara showed it, so I'm assuming it's nothing to worry about.

Hmm, looks like the lines around the insignia are deeper than those that are just sculpted detail, and it looks like the bit the insignia is on is ever-so-slightly misaligned with the surrounding plastic, almost like it's able to rotate to flip the insignia...

That con sig still looks like a sticker to me, as I'm sure if it could rotate the pics would demonstrate it like with the universe Dinobot fig.

Also the orange bit on brunt, I'd still say that's going to be orange on the final version.

It's your choice :) Afterall, in terms of general continuity with Jetfire it always goes con to bot. Sideways wasn't really a con in the first place as his only loyalty was to Unicron ;)

I stand corrected! Well, Jetfire's officially gone onto the must have list for me, which is weird because most of Siege has been maybe if it looks good in hand, but Jetfire's just really nice looking. Side note: Does anyone else find it weird that Takara showed off the mask without the armor, and then showed the unmasked head with the armor at first?

I'm not sure if I'd rather a sticker or a tampo'd plate that flips on Jetfire. I find the plates annoying as they tend to not stay put and stickers just don't look as nice as tampos. I had to go look at older renders to make sure he wasn't just an Autobot when fully armored. Siege truly is becoming the new MP line with one off features.

Accuracy be damned, I like Brunt without the safety tip.

I'm still leaning towards stickers though as I can't see a place where you'd be able to flip out the plate.

@rumble and Frenzy, they'll be cassettes still, just like Ravage and Lazerbeak, as that's what they were originally. I expect them to be a two pack at some point, as they will have to fit in Soundwave

If there is a rotating plate and based on the lines and shape of that area, I'd guess it would rotate left to right across it's vertical plane.

Have Rumble and Frenzy been announced/rumored or is this just speculation? I dot see them being any different than the other Cassettebots in the line.

So looking at the additional photos of Jetfire, I suspect there is a reversible panel to change from bot to con. However, the boosters look like they are autobot only.

Also, it looks like his large boosters collapse for bot mode to make a smaller backpack. The section with the window disappears for bot mode. I'm guessing this means the booster portions is hollow and that you can store micromasters in there for transport.

I still either expect them as Cybertronian tanks (Rewind and Eject too.), but im really hoping if they were Casettes and Tank modes as a triple changer, now that the fact Grand Slam and Rain Dance were listed on an exclusive.

We just got them as triple changing tanks in the PW3. I'm not a fan of small triple changers as I feel all modes suffer. I'd be happy with Frumbles that just turn into robots from flat rectangles. I'm really glad that Laserbeak and Ravge don't have the combining gimmick/sacrifices like the other micromaster sets. I'm still shocked their pegs that allow them to be bucklers fold away.

I think Rumble/Frenzy could be cassettes with flip out tank treads and a 5mm piece/place to put a gun for a turret.

Deluxes? Jets/Tanks? So far this line has been all about cartoon accuracy especially for robot modes and scale. So why do you think Hasbro would suddenly change that for Rumble and Frenzy? I wouldn't mind some of your suggestions, but Hasbro hasn't given us any reason to think they are even remote possibilities. Hasbro has been pretty strong on the stance of not adding gimmicks that were not part of the original toys and pretty much everything they've shown us has been true to that. Pretty much everything you've suggested would involve a gimmick that was not part of the original Rumble and Frenzy. I just don't see any of this happening.

It's only my speculation, but i want to see them in the siege either cassette mode (like siege Laserbeak and Ravage) or Cassettes with different weapons or modes. :HEADHURTS:

Official Takara Tomy Product Images for Transformers: SIEGE Jetfire and Brunt

Postby Wolfman Jake » Tue Feb 12, 2019 4:23 pm

Motto: ""A mountain with a wolf on it stands a little taller."

Seibertron.com member Albastross250 has let us know about some new stock photography from Takara Tomy, originally posted to the Transformers Never Die Facebook page. The images are of the upcoming Transformers: SIEGE Commander Class Jetfire and Deluxe Class Weaponizer Brunt! The pictures show off each figure in various configurations, a theme common to the SIEGE line.

We get some good shots of Jetfire in alt mode and standard robot mode (the G1 cartoon character model) and his "super mode" featuring add-on weapons and armor pieces that make him look more like his G1 toy self. There are two interesting points we learn here. The battle damage, which was hard to see on the at-show samples at Wonderfest recently, is definitely still there, featuring a "dirt wash" on the robot mode from the waist downward. Second, Jetfire is sporting a Decepticon faction logo on his chest in robot mode. It's unclear if this is an optional sticker that has been applied, if there is a faction symbol changing gimmick built into the toy, or if this is a change made by Takara Tomy and/or Hasbro. Of note, all other faction logos associated with this Jetfire toy are the Autobot brand.

Brunt is a little more straight forward. We see him in both altmode and robot mode, as well as disassembled into his component parts. SIEGE Deluxe Class Skytread (a.k.a., Flywheels) is used to demonstrate some possible configurations for outfitting your SIEGE figures with weapons, armor, and other gear provided by Brunt. One change we've seen with these pictures, however, is the lack of orange plastic or paint on the tank cannon that was seen in earlier renderings of this character.

Finally, we also have a bit of information from Loopaza Mega Store on when these figures will be hitting the Japanese market. They are slated, apparently, for a June 2019 release at a price of 3,500 JPY for Brunt and 18,000 JPY for Jetfire. Take a look at the pictures and these listings for yourselves below!
