Nope. The average Supreme class height was about 15 inches tall. This Jetfire being 11 inches puts him roughly a half inch shorter than the likes of the CW/UW/POTP Combiners, Armada Tidal Wave, and Beast Machines Ultra class Nightscream.Gauntlet101010 wrote:Pretty cool! See, that sounds perfect for me. He should be just a bit shorter than a combiner! Man, it will be nice to have another figure which is properly big, but isn't a combiner or a titan.

True. I think the best figures to compare would be the old Super class figures of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus from RiD 2001 (Car Robots Super Fire Convoy and God Magnus).Wireless_Phantom wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Nope. Nah, Thunderwing should just be a repaint of TR skyshadow and maybe give him a deluxe figure to pretend to be his inner/use as a weaponiser. Starsaber already has MP at that scale which still fits the siege/classics toyline as its a bit of an oddity with the more traditional early series G1 MPs. It's only a matter of time for Deathsauras as it looks like every series is getting some representation between Siege and Legends.
Still keeping my cyber battalion jetfire as it fits on my shelves but will definitely get rid of my classics with the new one coming out (who will probably have to stand next to the MPs anyways). I've not the faintest where Omega is going to go.

I'd argue it'd probably work a little better if they made Star Saber in this size class, then retool Thunderwing out of Star Saber. Plus, it gives a more accessible Star Saber figure that doesn't cost all that much.

We know their heights, they interacted with characters we have toys of. They would all be leader class or something along that line. Commander class for any would be beyond dumb since they wouldnt be able to interact with other characters we already have. Jetfire and Skylynx are the only ones that work at commander class.

The only one I wouldnt have guessed would be the dinosaur casettes. The rest, sure, its all retools anyway. I feel confident in saying if we do have galaxy shuttle, it wont be commander class. I dont mind being proven wrong though. Of course people can always hope, like they did for a G2 devastator redeco of the titan class toy, and for a redeco of metroplex into metrotitan and for a correct liokaiser that uses the same combiner wars system ect.

I mentioned before, the only "big" G1 Decepticons, along the lines of Jetfire, were the Triple Changers. A Cybertronian Astrotrain would be pretty nice.

I mean, galaxy shuttle looks suspiciously like what a re-imagined armada jetfire could look like, just saying now that we know this is coming...

The web of repaint-ability sprawls even wider
(Now, that's not to say that an armada jetfire is even coming, but they do look similar, and I wouldn't put it past TT at least to repurpose an armada jetfire as galaxy shuttle)

Only problem would be that we're hamstrung by bot mode size, and if I recall right, Blitzwing and Astrotrain aren't much bigger then Megatron. So only way we could get them at commander is if we could condense massive alt modes to voyager sized bots.
