Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege Discussion Thread
Re: Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege Discussion Thread
Strangely, the Walmart listing for Soundblaster has him numbered as S55, instead of the S63 shown on the packaging.
Did anyone get a S-number for the Refraktor set yet?

I feel so overwhelmed right now. I feel like Siege is literally out of control. All this to consider, and $160 Omega is still in development. I don't remember ever feeling like this with any of the previous Generations lines. I don't remember feeling forced to choose or pass up so much product. Am I alone here?

Nope. This is some next-level consumerism.

Not at all. Being a completionist is brutal for Siege. Otherwise hard lines have to be drawn. I'm not skipping much butnim skipping some. That FOMOnster is a real FOMOther.procyon wrote:I feel so overwhelmed right now. I feel like Siege is literally out of control. All this to consider, and $160 Omega is still in development. If you look real close at the alt mode shot, when his hands are flipped back there are 5 mm holes in the back of his "wrists" where you can plug in his harpoon . So you can chose. OPTIONS!SpikeyTigertron wrote:oh neat.... Impactor hasn't lost his hand yet lol

No, that's what they said. But it IS Walgreens. Toys aren't EXACTLY a specialty of theirs.
We will maybe see it tomorrow.

I know what you mean. It's as if all the previous years of CHUG packed into just one line all at once.
I'm just gonna get what I like and be happy with what I have.
And maybe also get a stupidly large Unicron too.

Is Lancer and the G1 Refraktor set Pulse exclusives, or will they be available elsewhere?

Holo Mirage.

Y'know... In the wake of the Aragon reveal, what would people think of Skytread being redecoed as a combination of Cromar and Zetar?

Is this a Pulse exclusive, or will it find it's way into brick an mortar stores? Like Walmart or TrU in Canada, for example?
No brick and mortar for those. And there is no french on those boxes. But keep an eye out on ages 3 and up, they usually have those and they are the canadian equivalent of BBTS. I already sent you a link to show you that you could buy the generations select exclusives from them.

The price will match for sure.
I wonder if Pulse can "hold on" items so that they ship at the same time. I'd want my Refraktor set and Lancer to ship together because it WILL be 30$ to ship regardless if it's just one figure or both.

Well that hurt, at least it was quick. I ended up ordering and pre-ordering all of the exclusives (and got around to ordering MP+ Smokescreen and snagged Red Wing this morning). I was able to come up with $25 in Amazon gift cards to help soften that blow. Bring on the rest of the Target exclusives!

I doubt it but never hurts to ask. Their schtick is their new premium service so you can get free shipping and not worry about them warehousing your goods. But I doubt they're offering that service up north.-Kanrabat- wrote:william-james88 wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Dr. Caelus wrote:Refraktor 3pk: https://hasbropulse.com/collections/pre ... eam-3-pack

According to the leaks/rumors that were right about Galactic Man, the Refraktor pack, 2/3's of this new Amazon set, and the Rainmakers, we're getting Cromar from Six-Gun and Zetar from Brunt, both with new head sculpts.
That leak also attests that we're getting Cybertron Hot Shot from Hound, Nightbird from Chromia, and Coneheads at some point in the future, so look forwards to those.

Does preordering regular retail items on Amazon typically work out, or do they hit widespread brick and mortar before the ship date?

Its a mixed bag. For me (Chicago area) just recently Springer showed up at retail before Amazon's July 1st ship date. But Smashdown and Caliburst shipped from Amazon on July 1st before they showed up at retail (I ordered these just before the ship date). But in both cases whoever was earlier was only about a week earlier. Brunt and Refractor were a bit different in that Amazon didn't have a preorder, they just came into and out of stock periodically, but only after they started to pop up at retail first.

I'm not on the TFW boards, but after the Galactic Man reveal when someone linked in the Selects thread to the leak, I started occasionally checking the posts of the original source. He's made multiple posts in response to questions about Seekers, and while they've generally been ambiguous, they've hinted that Coneheads are coming and we might be getting a number of Seekers comparable to the Classics mold.

And this: https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/war-for-cybertron-siege-appreciation-thread.1156282/page-851#post-17024830
Those two posts are the most substantial ones. Other than that, it's been a lot of ambiguous "Trust me" statements towards people doubting the leaks or calling them baseless rumors, so I don't know if the Coneheads are as safe of bets as the rest of the leaks, but that's what I got. If I had to guess, it sounds to me like they are coming, but in the next part of the trilogy.
In other news, we're now only missing anywhere from 2 to 5 Siege figures/sets and at least 1 Selects release, and we have leaks pointing to 4 of those figures, so that's awesome.

Well, if you remember the jetfire debacle, amazon keeps orders open forever, even if they exceed the number of product that they ordered, which has happened several times in the last couple of years for tf's and has led to a lot of unfulfilled orders, so there's that

there is no such thing as widespread anymore due to spotty distribution state per state, city to city, retailer to retailer. preordering on amazon at least guarantees you will get it and dont have to hunt.

well where there's a great seeker mold, coneheads are usually not far behind

but seriously though, hasbro seem intent on giving us all the seekers out of this mold and there's room for a conehead in the current mold, so I'd be surprised if they didn't milk this mold as hard as they can
