ZeroWolf wrote:Also don't forget inflation, that mega class seems cheap by today's standards, but did it back in 96?
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I would say that strictly speaking we're not, if only because while engineering has shown improvements in some areas... the toys are priced chiefly by the quantity of plastic, which has diminished.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Maybe, maybe not. But the $20 price tag of 2005-2010 felt decent for a Voyager at the time relative to our earning power, which has not kept pace with inflation so well. And since 2011, Transformers have dwindled in mass while the prices have crept upward... But it could be worse.

Rung is getting reissued in Earthrise like Astrotrain and Smashdown.sol magnus wrote:Don't have a Rung, so they just got me to pay for another Ultra Magnus.
Shadowman wrote:This is Sabrblade we're talking about. His ability to store trivial information about TV shows is downright superhuman.
Caelus wrote:My wife pointed out something interesting about the prehistoric Predacons. I said that everyone was complaining because transforming for them mostly consisted of them just standing up-right. She essentially said, 'So? That's what our ancestors did.'
Okay, but that's all post-Dark of the Moon stuff. Compare a DOTM or Generations Voyager to, say, a Cybertron or ROTF Voyager and you'll notice more of a difference.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Maybe, maybe not. Not as much as you think, in fact when weighed some current figures are heavier than previous ones. ER Hoist for instance is the heaviest of his wave at 3.2 ounces or 91 grams, and Wheeljack is an average 2.7 or 77 grams, same as Siege Mirage and surprisingly, TR Sergeant Kup. Just saying

They also give Californians cancer.

At least the "I didn't read the warnings" excuse doesn't fly in courts, that should count for something... or does it?

Mold layout would get in the way of having the red head on that, I think, so what you'd end up with is Delta Magnus' cab robot. Or else a Magnus with a blue torso and arms, and red head and legs.Skritz wrote:Some say its a Dark Energon Magnus so he might be covered in purple cracks or have some translucent purple. I think a Decepticon Magnus might just end up a boring black repaint, however. Or they could make it a double whammy and have an evil Magnus whose cab robot is Shattered Glass colored. Would be weird but who knows?
MagnusSeeker wrote:When reading the details of the Ultra Magnus Spoiler Pack they say the figure is 7" tall I think. So that's the size roughly of a deluxe figure, correct? It may just be me but I passed on the UM Siege figure because of the size. I don't like how he's a "leader class" which makes him larger then almost all the other figures including Optimus. I'd prefer him to be the same size as Optimus....
