Maybe a third retool of Hound then? Just because those are Hounds weapons, then again you've got weapons from all over right there.

Yup. Happened to me a zillion times when I was fiddling with him yesterday. He is indeed pretty fantastic though. I somehow spent like an hour messing around with various backpack modes for him with his buddy Full Tilt. Weaponizers are fun even with older figures not designed for the play pattern.

My wife got to hear my ten minute dissertation on the significance of having Brunt now with Trypticon and why that’s important I had diagrams and everything

Amazon delivered Smashdown and he’s just too neat.

Personality-wise though I try not to judge but he’s always in the red and has a serious stick up his butt.

Why not wait for it to show up at a canadian retailer? You are stucj waiting months regardless

It will? When, and especially, who will carry the Selects?
For now, I had to buy Ricochet from BBTS because my friend already paid for it. While I was at it, I finally decided to get TR Brainstorm. Now I'll have to hunt G1 Brainstorm to go with the TR one.

I don't see why not. The 35th Anniversary versions of G1 and SS38 Primes will be exclusive to EB Games in Australia, so the same might apply to Canada, with other exclusives as well.

I'm glad to hear that the chest issue has been resolved. I have played with handled the figure, and it is quite possibly the best Starscream we have to date (Yup, better than the MP)

Remember the unkillable Classic Seeker mold?
Well, it's successor is definitely the Siege voyager. I expect that mold to be repainted and retooled for a few years to come.

And I'm glad for it!

Ok so catching up with the Siege images and reveals from SDCC:

Reflector pack: ugh, right after I completed the retail guys. But I really think I will be OK with my retail guys. I can't really justify 2 $60 cameras and basically 6 of the same mold in such a fashion with no real attachment to them.

Impactor 3 Pack: That is the head that should have been on the retail one, that looks much better. Holo Mirage is really cool and I will get him and regular Mirage. Love the Marvel G1 head. Who is Aragon? And what is a Powerdasher?

The previously revealed guys look really good, Astrotrain is my favorite so far.

RUNG!!! That one got me all hyped up. I think the Battlemaster class works out perfectly for him, and he can work with Swerve!

Galactic Man Shockwave is still a pretty easy pass.

Micromasters: I think I'll have to hunt down that set eventually. I like the looks of that pack.

Rainmakers: Really gaudy color schemes, but again I think I'll pick them up. Some new characters for the con shelf, like Redwing hopefully will be.

Kinda funny thinking about getting 5 of that mold but not my favorite seeker or Starscream

This is assuming you're not being sarcastic.

The Powerdashers were the first mail away offered toys in G1. They had pull back motors as their gimmick (hence "dash"), and their simple design made them perfect for the job. They came in 3 styles: Jet, Car and Drill:

Image
Transformers G1 1984 Powerdasher (Car Type) Gallery

Image

They were originally from Diaclone, and were also released in other Diaclone-based lines. The latter is where they got their names from: the car is Aragon, the jet is Cromar and the drill is Zetar.

Characterization for them was... messy, and they received little roles in the modern comics.

I was actually being serious, so thank you for the answer!

I recognize the drill guy from somewhere, not sure where.

Any time :)

I will admit how turning the Weaponizers into the Dashers requires a bit of... creative thought: Aragon is speedy like Cog, Cromar flies like Six-Gun and Zetar has treads like Brunt. Zetar is the only one of the three to get an SG version, plus a Kre-O manga cameo btw ;)
