Why not wait for it to show up at a canadian retailer? You are stucj waiting months regardless
It will? When, and especially, who will carry the Selects?

I meant a standard brick and mortar store. Any online store, even Canadian ones, doesn't count.
Still, that's an option. But the price may be not even better than BBTS overall.

Generations select are mostly online exclusive, like may mayhem. Canadian online retailer counts just as much as bbts. 9.99 cad shipping and no extra customs fee makes ages3andup an obvious choice for ordering all exclusives in one go.

Taxes are like death. There is no escape. Still, that extra 10$ of "handling fees" won't happen. So it's at least that.
Now on Preorder for the normal 30$CAN. Not too shabby.

I'm glad to hear that the chest issue has been resolved. I have played with handled the figure, and it is quite possibly the best Starscream we have to date (Yup, better than the MP)
Just tabbed and untabbed the panel on and off of his chest about ten times with no issue. I've only fully transformed him twice and while one of the hinges came partially out of the socket, it never fully flew off. However, I don't know if I can say that the issue was resolved or not. It could just be that mine is in fact just like all the others, but I'm being more gentle with it than other people (That may sound a bit snobbish, but I've seen Youtube reviewers who are more intense collectors than me handle figures pretty roughly.) and am thus avoiding the problem. In any case, after actually seeing what it is like in person, I do feel that even if it pops of all the time for most copies, people are indeed exaggerating how bad it is. It couldn't possibly be figure-ruining levels of annoying. Like, it isn't the doors on Universe Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen levels of obnoxious; nowhere close.

I escaped quite a bit of taxes with ages 3 and up, check out that sweet total:
This is WAY better than whatever you'd end up baying through BBTS. We actually have a canadian version of BBTS with this, meaning cheaper shipping, no exchange rate fee and no customs, so I am baffled as to why you would not use it first or use anything else.

Where to get the Exclusives Revealed at SDCC if you are in Canada
Posted by william-james88 Mon Jul 22, 2019 12:10 am
Firstly, Ratchet can be preordered right now at EB Games stores. You have to leave a $5 deposit. The price is $29.99 and he is dated for a September 1st release in Canada (the US will have to wait untill the holiday season).
As for the online exclusives, like Refractor, Galactic Man Shockwave and Lancer, all three can be preordered from Ages Three and Up. For Canadians unaware, they are basically the Canadian version of the typical US collectable online retailers like BBTS and TFSource. But you don't have to worry about exchange rates or customs and shipping is cheaper.
While Amazon.ca does have pages for their exclusives (G2 Sideswipe pack and Skywarp pack), they are not currently available for preorder. Amazon.ca tends to be later than Amazon.com for exclusives.
The Walmart exclusives are not on the Walmart.ca site yet and it is currently unknown if Walmart Canada will be stocking them or not (Walmart does not have a great track record for stocking exclusives in Canada).
The Target exclusives are unaccounted for, but several in the past have shown up at Toysrus stores, which is a significant retailer that usually has exclusives in Canada. The fact that these exclusives are so spread out in the US is because they do not have a big toy giant, unlike Canada. So we can expect Toysrus Canada to have some of these exclusives.

Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Thundercracker Reviews
Posted by Stargrave Mon Jul 22, 2019 12:26 am
What better way to down shift from the Seeker revealing madness that was this last week than to sit down and appreciate one of the original three. This is one of the nicest regular retail versions of Thundercracker to come around in quite a while, so if you're a fan of the dog owning, script writing, charming and witty bot in blue who found more beauty in humanity than any other bot in the IDW-verse, then you should enjoy this review.
Per Chuck:
"Thundercracker is a repaint with a new head of Starscream, that was repainted and released earlier this month as Red Wing. Other than the new head Thundercracker sports the same battle damage pattern as the other two released seekers but a classic blue paint scheme indicative of the G1 character. Since Thundercracker is a mainline release it's a tad easier to recommend it over Red Wing, who just became a Target Redcard exclusive."
And if you're hungry for even more then visit Soundwave 8084's review which has been up for a few weeks now. Both are great rundowns of this G1 original.
And as always after the peruse share your views with the Seibertron crew in the forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest in Transformers news!

A comparison between G1 Red Alert's gun and SIEGE Red Alert's gun, showing that there are indeed corresponding details. Not as strong as with Prowl's gun but still.
* Cyb. Galvatron key, missiles
* Omega Lock
* Primus Cyber Key, coattail panel
* Powerlinx Comettor
* Leader Sentinel Prime sword, shield
* RiD Galvy dragon head, beast arms
* Leader Ironhide windshield, R hood assy.
* Cyb. Wing Saber left chestplate (argh)

I'm a portuguese Transformers G1 fan. I have some toys from childhood but I want to start a new one.
I'm looking forward for this WFC Siege collection, particularly the voyager class.
I have some doubts, and you guys might help.
1- Is the voyager class a good bet? Short and long term?
2- Should I wait for american limited editions (like walmart Optimus and Megatron) or these voyager "rusty painted" transformers are ok too?
3- Are the sizes compatible with deluxe and titan class? (just saw an Ultra Magnus Leader class and look a bit bigger than it should, near to Prime)
Thank you!! G1 for Life

Just preordered mine before I saw your post and effectively, we only have to pay the TPS. No Quebec tax at all. So instead of paying 4.50$ in taxes, it was only 2$.
Too bad about the 10$ of shipping but eh...
Regrettably, all their regular TF are more expensive for reasons. Still a nice... Source... in finding 3P and such.

This figure will be coming to Walgreens in the US in the 2019 holiday season and as for Canada, EB games are currently taking in store preorders. This toy is already out in Hong Kong, exclusively at Toysrus.

As for med bay mode, I would probably just open up the back panels of van mode (the ones that reveal the additional ports) and plug in the weapons onto the arms.
