Dude I feel like I can’t accept defeat here. If you’re not getting those guys then I have to think of something for you. Hmmm... I need to go through my TF parts.
Not that there’s anything wrong with a small handle. I have an uncle with a small handle. I’m just sayin’.

Just throwing in my two cents on the Commander Class Jetfire debate, but I think the figure is exactly what should be expected for the price and the size class, given how the rest of the Siege line has shaped up so far. Jetfire/Skyfire looks just like his G1 Sunbow character model, most so in robot mode, but also very appreciably so in alt mode. The mostly white with some light blue and red highlights is right on the mark. Although it may look plain to some with all that white, that's the way he's "supposed" to look. There is a slight difference in the white plastics used throughout the figure, though, mostly in the lower legs and shoulders, adding that "dirty/gritty" battle-worn effect without going overboard. It helps break things up a bit.
As for the transformation, it's just as complex as it needs to be. Although a lot of it is fairly straight forward and unsurprising, it does do a lot of neat things with hiding the head in a "trap door" on the booster pack, and the way the booster pack, thrusters, and legs all come together is really neat and satisfying. Jet transformers almost always look like a mess from underneath, a squished up robot with a jet on its back, so I'm not holding that against Jetfire now. Skyfire was a blocky looking jet in the cartoon, acting as a Autobot troop transport in Season 1, so the bulky undercarriage makes a lot of sense when viewed from the side. And yes, he is VERY big, even in robot mode, in the cartoon, so this size class suits him well. Watch some of the classic episodes of the G1 cartoon again with Skyfire and then pose him next to Siege Optimus Prime or Starscream. Hasbro and Takara got it right.
A lot of us, myself included, don't really pay enough attention to the "play factor" of these figures either. Jetfire has a LOT of that going on for him, with blaster/thruster/damage effect parts, the ability to fit a Titan Master into his cockpit, and hang bars to "fly" Deluxe Class figures into battle. He's even got a ton of extra armor and weapons to play "dress up" with!
Is Commander Class Jetfire worth $80? He's half the price of Omega Surpeme ($160) and just as tall and massive as a Combiner Wars combiner ($80 - $110). If the transformation were more involved, including numerous robot kibble hiding panels, we'd be talking about a Masterpiece level of engineering, and the $80 price point would blow up like no one's business (well, I guess maybe Takara's business). So, $80 seems right to me, but then again, some people would argue that $20 is too much for a Deluxe sized figure now.

Got notified that Lancer got shipped last night and she was on my porch when I got him from work. Joints are a little more loose than the rest of her cast mates but still pretty good. Had to take a picture of combined mode before I put them back on display.

Not replied in awhile so; Skyfire looks awesome to me and so Sunbow G1, which I love. Scale is pretty close, if maybe an inch or 2 too tall. Leader def too small thou. I have him preordered on Pulse, was going to order when he was available, but that didnt last long.
Hope next commander class figure is SkyLynx
Finally a Rung figure.
Undecided on Astrotrain, even thou it looks fekin sweet, I have Legends version.
Seekers look awesome. I could totally understand someone loading up on this mold. But I have Planet-X WfC Starscream, Igear Raptor Thundercracker, plus waiting on Maketoys Cross Dimension Skywarp, to finish my main 3. But thinking of getting Redwing maybe or another single release.
Apeface is one of my fav Decepticons(also used to be my fav G1 toy), along with Octane who I have Legends version of. Now going to have great updated versions of both. Pre-ordered on Pulse.
Stakeout is best micromaster. And I like him from Wreckers. Masterforce...meh lol. Like most other, Laserbeak is pretty sweet and Ravage is tolerable.
Got to order the Fan Vote 3 pak on Amazon at just 25$, all I had to do was get an Amazon credit card, which cost nothing. Love the IDW head Impactor, and the version I wanted. Powerdasher is a nice surprise and holo Mirage is a nice novelty.
I want Unicron bad but cant really afford him. Hmm, even thou Amazon did just give me a CC, lol.
My top 3 Siege figure so far(that I have):
1 Springer. by far. So awesome and Sunbow G1.
2 Flywheel. So cool and fun. Finally we have both duocons.
3 Prowl. Great Datson bros mold. Cant wait for Smokescreen

Don't think I've seen Orthia with the green limbs as arms and orange limbs as legs. Guessing it would look a lot better than the official combination

I always have to extend the legs as much as possible to give the combiners height or just have the arms/legs both shorter just to fit on shelves. Preordered Lancer (September for UK) which gives me enough time to track the other limbs down if I can stop buying titans return figures.
Which ever combination elita ends up in, the unpainted/painted wheel duos will be in the same positions (likely painted ones as legs).

I spotted that. Thought it was a little odd to use that piece as a handle which doesn't make dazzlestrike protrude any further form the combiner fist.

Ha! True, but it gives her an actual handle to hold instead of it just pegging into the thumb and "floating" there. But really, Dazzledog doesn't even make all that impressive of a weapon for a combiner. More of just a hot pocket knife.
When Lancer arrives and I get them all down to play, I'll use POTP Munkky Prime's guns (as per Lunatic Prime's suggestion) to make a nice long Fire Spear.

It looks better if she's got Lionizer in the other hand - then she's dual wielding little stabby daggers. Though maybe I ought to try turning them upside down...

Kinda want to complete Orthia now...
Anyway, I saw people putting Top3 Siege in here between bashing Chromia and Megatron, so i thought I'd give mine. I like the idea the one guy had that his top 3 are the ones he picks up the most. To that end -
Top 3
Ultra Magnus
Optimus Prime Voyager
Megatron Voyager
(Jetfire will bump Megatron, but I don't have one as yet)
Honorable Mentions go to Soundwave, Prowl (again, not sure of the issue people have - I'm more mad he didn't get shoulder guns), Red Alert, Springer, Hound and Shockwave (which is almost like saying everybody else).
Why these three at the top? They're all great classic representations of beloved characters. I don't get the hate on Megatron besides the QC issues, which my copy does not have.
I don't have any figure in Siege I'm just 'not happy' with. I would not buy it in the first place if I thought any reported issue was going to make me unhappy. This is the best designed line outside of Masterpiece Transformers have had since Car Robots in my view.
The figure I have the most QC level issues with is Chromia, and that isn't enough to make me "unhappy" with the figure, since they mostly stand in state. My copy has a loose leg and her pistol doesn't 100% fit in her hand, an issue were she being played with in a dynamic fashion because it sometimes slips.

If I had to by what I had, Cog would be the top 3.All the others have been represented better in other lines (even cyberverse prowl is more appealing to me than the siege one). This will change as I fill out my collection with a few of the deluxes/voyagers and maybe a leader or two. Jetfires a must but I can probably (definitely could have got one) picked up an old die cast metal veritech at the same price, which though might be better quality, isn't the character.

I did. I thought I was stupid they painted them in the first place. They spent 2 different days in alcohol to remove the paint. I’d say almost all can off, and the little bit that didn’t almost makes it look like Siege deco.

My top three is probably
1. Ironhide - perfect character rendition in at least one mode. Great for display and play
2. Sixgun - the embodiment of play value
3. Shockwave, if value-for-money is not counted. He's a good display piece. If it is, throw Cog in instead.
Skytread is extremely well-designed but isn't as iconic or playable as the top contenders. Brunt could have used more symmetrical connection points, it's harder to make a good armor mode with him than Cog or Sixgun. The Battle/micromasters are kind of sad, and Greenlight doesn't really count imo. Had I gotten better with resin casting I may have bumped the battle masters as a group up to #3, but sadly I have not

I'm still waiting for a shipping notice for my Lancers from Hasbro Pulse. I put my order in on July 18. It's been a week now.

If the powers that be selected Spinister as an upcoming figure is there a chance we could see Needlenose? I was lucky to get my hands on a Collectors Club Spinister but I missed out on Needlenose and it's not a cheap figure. Anyone's thoughts....anyone...anyone?
