Forget about Exhaust, the Marlboro Bot. It's time for Slicer!

Exhaust has the cooler head though, I would prefer him over Slicer personally not that I'm opposed to them making a Slicer since he's cool to.

Slicer would be easier for Hasbro and Takara to do, just because it's a straight up repaint. Marlboro is a little tougher, not only because it requires a head retool, but also because they have to strike a delicate balance between the original Diaclone "Marlboro Wheeljack" deco and what is legally allowed in Hasbro markets, given that the original deco is trademarked by Philip Morris, and that it is a "children's toy" that references tobacco products. Takara had a HELL of a time releasing Masterpiece Exhaust a few years ago, and selling it outside of Japan was even more of a hassle for third party sellers like TFSource and BBTS.

Yeah, after that fiasco, I'd really be surprised if Hasbro would ever touch another Exhaust toy with a ten foot pole.

I really want a Slicer. That would be awesome to get another more obscure character, and we really need to start getting more Action Masters in the mainline as updates

Have we seen/heard anything about Apeface's Amazon page disappearing? Like anything from Hasbro or even Amazon? Because I have Apeface pre-ordered on there, and haven't actually gotten any notification saying it's cancelled, but I'm also worried they may end up just not sending out copies to people who pre-ordered with them

I wouldn't be too worried yet. This happened before on something transformers that I pre-ordered from them, but I don't remember which one. The page was eventually restored and I ended up getting whichever one it was on time. I would keep an eye on the ship date (mine says November 15th release, arriving November 17th.) If they miss that date, then I would pre-order from Hasbro Pulse if you have a premium membership, or add something else you would end up buying anyway to get above $70 for free shipping.

Alright, fair enough. The only other time I've ordered anything from Amazon was Punch/Counterpunch so I was just concerned, but thanks for the quick reply

So I just cancelled my Spinster and Crosshairs pre-order with Amazon in favor of Hasbro Pulse, since Pulse is saying ready to ship December 1st, and Amazon says January 1st.

However, I did notice something weird with the Amazon pre-order for Apeface. No, the Amazon Listing isn't fixed and still says page not found, and according to Amazon I'll still be getting him on November 19th.

I noticed that according to the original pre-order, they only had him as $24.99 instead of $29.99. I wonder if that has something to do with them removing his Listing from their site? In any case, I guess next week will tell if I'm going to be abandoning the Amazon order for Hasbro Pulse on Apeface as well, or if Amazon will come through, even without a current Listing.

I'm not a big Amazon guy, but I'm also not so naive as to think that this'll actually show up in my local stores. I've been burned too much by final waves not showing up in stores, forcing me to scrounge for everyone else's leftovers at inflated prices online. I still haven't bitten the bullet on TR Misfire and Twintwist.

My Apeface just arrived. He feels great, but I find it a little odd that his box seems a bit small for him. But overall, he's pretty good. The weird pearlescent white doesn't even look that off in hand

I had Apeface pre-ordered since it was first available and was getting nervous when I saw that other people had theirs shipping and in hand. It didn't help my order still said Tuesday but the listing was now offering one day delivery. So I ordered a second one and tried to cancel the first. I then got a shipping notice that the first one had shipped and the delivery date was updated to tomorrow. I tried to cancel the second one but it's too far along. At least I'll be able to pick the better of the two.

Check Walmart from time to time. I had Spinister, Crosshairs and Apeface preordered there for $17.99 for the deluxes and $24.99 for Apeface. Spinister isn't showing up right now, but the other two are for those prices.
