Both are different scales though and would be for different purposes. I dont really get why we would be comparing the two.

A better comparison might be who to get between the classics Voyager, the Combiner Wars Voyager, the Titans Return voyager and this new Siege Voyager.

I was mainly comparing the different scaled figures was because they are the most recent versions of G1 Prime. I was just asking which one did the style of G1 Prime the best. Sorry for not really making that clear.

Not only that, but the other Voyager Primes aren't exactly the best things to compare this new Prime too, that's why I left out Combiner Wars Optimus, as he's more so Motormaster that Optimus, & Titans Return Prime, as that's more so a G2 Lazer Prime. And when it comes to Classics, I feel that's even more unfair, as Classics Prime was a reimagining of the character, not another recreation.

Or you can do like I did and get all of them. But if you must choose, go with whichever you think you will like to look at the most when it's on the shelf and whichever you think will give you the most play value. It's all about what you're getting the figure for.

The voyager from Seige looks as G1 a robot mode as you can get, so if that is all that matters, then get that one and save some money :)

Exactly, there's little point comparing them as everyone has their own preference for display purposes :-) some fans display all their primes together so they'll be content with more on that shelf. Go with whatever one suits your mood.

I'm thinking about replacing him, too. The Voyager version seems to have even more points of articulation (wrist swivels, waist swivel) only missing the ankle pivot. He also has better weapons, more 5 mm ports and an alt mode I actually like. I only got the PotP Leader for it's evolved robot mode. It's nice to have an evolving figure just for the thought of it but I really don't care for G1 accurate Orion Pax and the alt modes. And the Matrix gimmick is nice but I can do without it.
And scalewise the Voyager version fits for a lot more of figures but to me the Leader is actually a powered up OP with a mech suit. Kind of a bit like Cybertron OP. So I don't have any display problems there.
So the question for me is now: Do I get rid of my Leader as long as there is demand for it or do I keep him and get the Voyager to mainly put him next to the Leader in alt mode?

In robot mode they look pretty much the same. Only the scale is different.

Except for the grey on the arms from the trailer that puts many people off. Not me, I don't mind it and like the PotPie version for scale and the robot mode, but that was a huge complaint against him on the boards here.

Thankfully, the Nemesis Prime version having a black trailer did away with that color issue for that version. 8-)

Other than Orion's huge backpack, the gray parts on Prime are my only complaint, really. It's like Hasbro wanted to go for an accurate trailer, but the trailer suffers from all kids of other problems. Color scheme is the least of it. The whole vehicle mode is garbage, IMO, even Orion's cab mode. And just like the trailer does to Prime, the cab mode screws up an otherwise pretty good Pax figure. I would have preferred a half-red trailer and an all-red Prime. Otherwise, the robot mode of the figure is pretty good.

I actually thought about trying to sell the trailer by itself, maybe to some who does customs, because the Pax figure is pretty good. I just have to figure out what to do with all that back kibble.

I'm hoping that Hasbro and Takara were clever enough to design Siege Optimus Prime to be able to connect with the Power of the Primes trailer in vehicle mode. Would be a nice touch, and the scale should work out just fine, in my opinion.

If not, you could always just see if you could place it on there for display purposes...just pose Orion Pax as if he was running after it to get his super mode back

Unfortunately a look at the scans from Figure King indicates this is not likely. I can't see anything that would work as a port for the trailer's post.

It may still work for display purposes by simply resting the front of the trailer on the back of the cab, but how good it will look depends on how high the back of the cab is.

UPDATE:

And the port is pretty far to the middle of the truck away form its rear. But I think the trailer has enough clearance to do not make this an issue.

Okay, so I've had a revelation, hear me out.

We know we're getting Impactor in this line, because of the poll, and Impactor's alt mode looks like this, right?
Impactor2.jpg
Impactor2.jpg (111.63 KiB) Viewed 10073 times

We also have evidence to suggest that molds in this line not only have pre-planned alternate heads like lines previous, but also that they aren't necessarily all going to be G1-based, as evidenced by the seemingly Hot Shot-like head on Hound's box art, right?

So DO YOU THINK that Hasbro has had the same idea that I have, and are willing to actually make it, and could possibly be intending to retool Impactor into this:
Armada_Demolishor_toy.jpg
Armada_Demolishor_toy.jpg (46.73 KiB) Viewed 10073 times

I don't know about anyone else, but those alt modes look similar enough in terms of overall structure and transformation scheme that I think it could be done, plus their robot modes have similar enough physique/structure, and given that Demolishor was apparently CW Onslaught's alternate head, we know that Hasbro seems willing to make a new figure of him...

Granted, this is mostly just speculation and it assumes that Impactor will have that alt mode, as I know he did get a new alt mode in Requiem, but still, I couldn't keep myself from posting it.

I could see it, and I would buy it, and like I said in the other thread, if Hasbro made it so that a micromaster could man his turret like a missile defence platform...then I would track it down no matter what.

I would track it down regardless of that, but I think that kind of potential interaction is another reason why this figure would make sense. Demolishor was from the era of the Mini-Cons, which means that he already used to be covered in Mini-Con ports that he in-canon mainly used as weapon ports for ordinance-carrying Mini-Cons. Giving him an update in this specific line, where weapons are a line-wide focus and everyone is already covered in and encouraged to use numerous weapon ports, just makes sense, especially given the comparisons people have already made between these new Micromasters with weapon modes and the Mini-Cons.

Plus it would help solidify Warden's claim from Comic-Con that he doesn't actually hate non-G1 lines/characters, so...

Personally I'd like to see a redeco of Impactor, Thrilling 30 Springer, a retooled Overlord to look more like an IDW version, maybe a redeco of Battletrap into Rotorstorm, and maybe a Pyro figure. I know it's cheating to say Battletrap is one figure, but it works better for scale. I just want a Last Stand of the Wreckers box set, darnit! :WRECKERS:
