But we shouldnt confuse price with price point. The idea is that if a legends calss 2 pack sold at the deluxe price point once, it can do so again.

But they also said all robot modes would be in scale with eachother and yet we have Leader Shockwave, so both statements dont go together well.
Plus they also once said that Studio Series would all be new molds aside from the exclusive thundercracker. And we know how that turned out, so who knows.
Technically, they are all new molds based on previous toys in some cases. There may be repaints, but they are repaints of the new SS molds, so they didn't really lie. I think that was misinterpreted.

PotP Deluxe MSRP stayed at $16.99, everything else (aside from Legends) got a price hike from Hasbro.
Also it's faulty logic for anyone using the clones as an example of two legends being sold at a Deluxe price point meaning it's possible for Skytread to do the same. The clones are exclusives and exclusives are priced by the stores that sell them, not by Hasbro. Walgreens decided they worked at a Deluxe price point, that doesn't mean Hasbro agreed.

(Ages 8 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $19.99 SRP /Available: Spring 2018)
The AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS use PRIME MASTERS to wield the incredible powers of the most legendary bots in the universe: the Primes. Anything is possible and everything is at stake when the Power of the Primes is unleashed! TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS POWER OF THE PRIMES DELUXE CLASS figures are 5.5-inch-scale figures that come with a Prime Armor accessory. I think he means, that's less of a "teaser" and more of a "reminder".Albatross250 wrote:william-james88 wrote:Where is the teaser?
It's from the Figure King Magazine,
and yeah, it took me and confused for about 5-10 minutes of the source

"Optimus Prime" and all the other Hasbro names are what they're using for this line.Albatross250 wrote:They also recall on the Wonderfest 2018 showing Optimus (Convoy) and the rest of the Cybertrons (or Autobots) which can be seen at the top left

Just like with the Movie lines, Animated, United, Japanese Generations, TF: Prime, Power of the Primes, etc.Albatross250 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:"Optimus Prime" and all the other Hasbro names are what they're using for this line.Albatross250 wrote:They also recall on the Wonderfest 2018 showing Optimus (Convoy) and the rest of the Cybertrons (or Autobots) which can be seen at the top left
Seems like they made a Unification, right?

Nice to see some pics of Siege Optimus Prime without all the "battle damage" paint applications. Is Takara just showing off some earlier, non-finalized samples of Siege products, or are they planning to diverge just a bit from Hasbro's offerings by going for "pristine" looks for their releases instead of Hasbro's "battle worn" aesthetic?
