iirc, Leobreaker was a victim of Takara's financial troubles at that time. Couldn't take a chance on another Ultra Class and OP upgrades were moreso their thing than Hasbro's. Galaxy Force was their last line before the Tomy merger, as more circumstantial evidence of this.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:This reminds me of the non-Beast Mode concept art in the back of The Gathering/Ascending (and Hearts of Steel). Yeah that arm mode is also in the book, would love to see it happen!william-james88 wrote:What I would be more excited for would be an arm mode as it looked like in the initial sketches

Ugh imagine UW Devastator but with an umlimited budget for Hasui to go full hog MP with it. Or MP Huffer/Drag who never got made to go with MP-10. The Generations Deluxe book is also painful to look at, has a trove of some amazing late G1 concepts that never saw the light of day!AllNewSuperRobot wrote:ScottyP wrote:iirc, Leobreaker was a victim of Takara's financial troubles at that time. How many Really Cool Transformers designs have littered the cutting room floor over the years?
Some people got to see Galaxy Force fansubbed in English by TV-Nihon before Cybertron starting airing on TV in English, and so prefer to use the Japanese names instead.Albatross250 wrote:Is it odd to call Him Ligerjack?
because Galaxy Force made his name differently, also Sonic Bomber. (Wing Saber)

An interview in the new Transformers Generations 2019 book implied that Big Powered might represent the conclusion of the Legends line.o.supreme wrote:^Perhaps as alegends exclusive, after all they are releasing Big Powered from existing TR toys in the Spring. I'd definitely be up for it, but only if we had a Star Convoy & Sky Garry to go with it.
