Has anybody spotted Cybertron Optimus Prime's hip blasters? The ones which come with SIEGE Ultra Magnus.
- NO?
I mean of course maybe the dude taking the picture just forgot about them and they are lying somewhere near him as well as the blaster which can be attached to his right underslung cannon.
BUT we all know that the (management/financial) guys atare all just greedy bast...*cough*, I mean outstanding in their jobs when it comes to developing strategies to entice consumers to help them get the most profit out of a product. So maybe SIEGE Leader class Cybertron Optimus Prime won't come with those blasters (of course all for the welfare of consumers so they don't have to pay more or the product will even be released as an overprized exclusive *cough PotP Nemesis Prime*) and you have to buy both Prime AND Ultra Magnus to have a complete Cybertren Optimus Prime.
THEN I can just say (again): WELL PLAYED,![]()

Well, i hope this guy would come in the trilogy, oh wait, there's micromasters in the trilogy so there are hopes.
Whifflefire wrote:I am rather tempted to get this - Cybertron Optimus Prime is my Optimus Prime. But I'll also be getting two other Primes this year - Studio series '07, since he combines with Jetfire (who I'm definately getting) and the seige voyager, since I haven't a decent G1 Optimus. To be fair, the last time I got an Optimus toy was in 2012, the FOC deluxe, and the only other Optimi I have are the DOTM voyager and deluxe (With the trailer). But am I really about to buy three Primes this year? Seems a tad excessive!
I would definitely go for it if Leobreaker showed up. I could always force a Sonic Wing Mode with my Wingblade.
I think I now know how People felt when the first classics toys were revealed...

This Leader Class figure appears to utilize a similar "inner" robot to Ultra Magnus, and comes with the appropriate armor pieces to utilize an upgraded form straight from 2006:
While this is not a confirmed release from Hasbro, it looks pretty certain given this and some of the vestigial parts on Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Leader Class Ultra Magnus that this latest Siege Leader Class figure will help you find the Cyber Planet Keys before the Decepticons can use them for evil! Reminisce on your adventures with Optimus Prime, Hot Shot, Landmine, Jetfire, Scattorshot, Vector Prime and more by checking out our comprehensive Transformers: Cybertron toy galleries.

If you have the figures, compare them with the Seibertron galleries. There are slight differences, but overall the splotches are in the same place and the same shapes.
Wouldn't surprise me. I don't follow the threads that closely. It was new to me anyway. Also not surprising as it makes cost sense.Lunatic Prime wrote:I thought that's already been publicly known by now.carytheone wrote:I think I've noticed something about the "battle damage" on some of the figures (Megatron and Prime). Lunatic Prime wrote:You mean Studio Series 32? I'll wait for the SS DotM Prime to decide which one I'll get. Othwerwise the only Prime I'll get this (so far) is Studio Series 38.
SIEGE Voyager Prime was on my list when I first saw him but only for his vehicle mode because for the G1-ish robot mode I already have PotP Leader Prime and he has ankle tilts which makes his articulation superior (to me at least) and I like his robot mode more in general - bullier and the trailer kibble is kind of an armor to me. .

Yes, SS32, didn't care enough about the number to look it up.(I still think it rather ironic that the first movie inspired prime is the one who can do the gimmick from the sequel.) The POTP leader I thought was too large but the voyager is a much more appropriate scale. Should look nice next to Elita.

I'll take it over the crapshoot battle damage from the Revenge of the Sith toyline back in 2005Lunatic Prime wrote:I wonder how they did it on TLK Leader Megatron. I think his battle damage was a bit different on every figure. And Studio Series 07 Grimlock
Probably the same randomizing method used on Star Wars toys (like the aforementioned ROTS toyline) in the past.
Guess I lost the lottery with Voyager OP, who has a nice stray shot of silver paint on his face. At least it led to some fun jokes that I won't repeat herecarytheone wrote:I think I've noticed something about the "battle damage" on some of the figures (Megatron and Prime). That would be nice and could be retooled in a BEAST WARS character like Cheetor for example. But I already have the original Cybertron OP and this one doesn't look as cool as the original to me. I really don't like Magnus' proportions and he totally has those.
I have Movie (2007) Power of the Allspark Wingblade (Cybertron Wingsaber recolor),too. The combination mode of him and Prime is awesome. If they do that again I'll rethink it but as for now Leader SIEGE Prime's a pass for me.

A figure for this guy would be great also..
Based on the images of the core bot we have seen as well as the fact that the leg armor seems to be the same (at least the main part, we don't know about the truck sides yet) I'd say that at least a majority of the armor is compatible, if anything the chest armor may not be, but I think otherwise it is a safe bet.
If we're talking about GIANT Transformers, I have another suggestion:
Though that will never happen. Oh well...
As for Galaxy Convoy, he's 100% an instant buy for me. I don't own anything from the Unicron Trilogy and have tried to get anything from the series, rather it be a version of Hot Shot, or Override, etc. Seeing this gives me a good amount of hope that we can expet to see more characters from other generations of the Transformers and like Thew said: "Justify the S in the name Generations.
and yes i know about the couple of beast wars characters we've gotten as well as armada starscream and megatron, but it be nice to get more than just 7 characters from other series.
Who is that?
Now how long till we get pictures of the truck mode. Also an important question, do you think you can mix and match the armour for um and Cybertron Prime?

It's going to take a hell of a lot for this "tribute" to beat him. Good luck Hasbro, thanks for at least making the effort!

Personally I've got the original as well and I was wondering, how well have the hips on yours held up? Mine has trouble standing even when he isn't in super mode because of how loose they have become.
