I ask because a small tab on my Masterpeice Megatrons thigh plate has snapped off. I know that I can glue it back on. But it seems that the tab is under a lot of stress when in Gun Mode. So it is likely to snap off again if glued.
So i was think of fusing it together, kinda like welding, but with plastic.
Thoughts?

I believe gluing is still your #1 option as using heat might alter the entire shape of the piece that snapped off your transformer.

I'm having this same issue and I don't think I even broke anything. any tricks to accessing the spring easily?DragonSama wrote:Defirion wrote:Dragon, I've been having the same problem with my Bee. Could you tell me exactly what you did to make the front end stay up?
sure all I did was use a small screwdriver and popped this one spring out.
Once you do the hood will stop flipping over. you can then manualy convert Bumblebee back and forth.

Anyway, do all of the minibots(BB, CJ, BJ, & Hubcap) have the same parts? In other words, I have a busted up Hubcap and I think it would be eaiser and cheaper to strip a BB or CJ keychain. They look the same, but I don't want to strip one of mine unless I know they will work. Same goes for the tires, they look the same, but I'm not willing to ruin one of mine if this won't work.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanx!

What sort of paint would I need to replace it and is it possible a permanent marker would work just as well?
Any help appreciated.

I think a lot of people use krylon fusion paints and testors acrylics. I know that Hasbro uses House of Kolor paints now. I don't know what they used in the 80's.
And so you know house of Kolor paints are pretty expensive, should be sprayed on, and you need to be in a well ventilated room wearing a respirator to spray it.

Optimus_sean wrote:Hi, I bought an Energon Shockblast on eBay and I was wondering if I had a broken connector on it. His upper chest doesn't seem to snap firmly into place with his waist. I took a look at his waist and I saw a piece that looked like it was broken. I have some pics here (http://www.geocities.com/sean_erwin_den ... stion1.jpg) here (http://www.geocities.com/sean_erwin_den ... stion2.jpg.) and here (http://www.geocities.com/sean_erwin_den ... stion3.jpg). If someone could tell me that I do (or don't) have some kind of broken tab that would be much appreciated.
Hey, disregard this guys. I asked this same question over at Transfans and they confirmed my suspicion that Hasbro never even made a locking piece to Shockblast's chest.

1)the spring/gear system in the chest seems to be pushing and causing the chest to split at the seam.
UPDATE 8/30. seems the problem due to the plastic pegs snapping in the upper part of the torso(connected to the front half). Any suggestions on how to fix it? Would glue/rubber cement be strong enough to hold it?
hmmm one side seems to work doing this, but the other side is still giving me hell. I guess round 3 will begin when i find time this weekend...any further suggestions would still be GREATLY apreciated.
2)one foot is somewhat floppy in gun mode.
your help in fixing these problems(mainly #1) would be greatly appreciated.

1) His right are ball joint is kinda loose. I hear clear nail polish can help fix this, though I've also heard a layer of superglue works. Which is better?
2) there's a stress fracture developing at one of his shoulder hinges, what's the best way to stop this. Fortunately, I've got another Grimlock coming so whichever one is in better condition will go on display and the other will become an attempt at a Soundwave custom.
