One of my superlink superion's connector pegs (for the left arm to connect to the main body) snapped off.
I think I can use epoxy or superglue to repair the cracked plactic screwtread, but my problem is this:
The screw involved has a smooth head, and to make matters worse, I need to put pressure against a spring while screwing it in. Any suggestions how to fix it? I suppose I could just go out and buy another Storm Jet, but I wanna give fixing this guy a try first.
Help much appreciated guys!

I was just gonna ask the same thing.
I'm trying to open up the motor shield on Sky Lynx
and 1 screw is stripped. Anyone got a tip(s) on how
to remove it?
Never mind. I worked the stripped phillips screw head until I could fit a 3.00mm precision flat screwdriver in there.
I then held it down and turned it with some pliers. JACKPOT!

Mine does the same thing on both sides, so I think you are supposed to use the front part to activate automorph. I don't think your figure is busted.

to the rest of him is absent.
Does anyone have an idea on where I can get a pin to replace this piece? Maybe Menards or Home Depot? but I'm not quite sure what I would be looking for. Thanks

A US ebay-seller sold me a genuine sludge with a broken knee-joint. So it's kaput so to say.
As finding even broken sludges is very hard and paying alot for a "whole" sludge on ebay is crazy. Does anyone have a few spare parts? - Im in need of the entire upper leg+hipjoint
Or any other suggestions?
Thanks..

Assuming you have a dremmel tool then:
I had the same problem, though mine just fell out and vanished. I took a metal nail, the appropriate size, (made sure it was a tight fit) used a dremmel to cut off the point, and most of the head of the nail. I slid the nail part way through, then wrapped a bit of clear tape around it on each side next to the housing.
since I don't play with my TFs, just putting them up for display, it has worked fine for me.
hope it helps

I had the same problem with my G2 Brawl. I let the part soak in a cup of Coca-Cola, then used a tooth brush to brush the battery acid off. Most of it came off, just a bit of the more stubborn tuff remained. If you're weary about the soda possibly dying your figures, don't try this. Mine showed no signs of and discoloration, but I wouldn't risk it with a white or similarly colored piece.
And I have a question, too!
Well, back in October of '05, I bought myself "played with" G1 Soundwave. The usual, sticker wear, loose joints, no accessories, etc. 20 bucks, so not bad. However, my dad decided he wanted to play with him and ended up snapping his neck in two (the round part that fits into the groove inside his head came detached from the "column" piece). I Krazy glued (ftw).
Well, for two years of win... Yesterday, as I was playing around with Soundwave (being careful as always), his neck snapped again (same place, glue just came undone). I figure I can use Krazy glue and let him be alright for another two years, but does anyone have a permanent solution? I actually Gorilla Glue, but it foams, which meant the head did not fit properly, and so had to come off. I do have a TRU US Reissue Soundwave coming via UPS shortly, and I figure perhaps I could repro the neck piece, but A) Its a bit risky, and B) I'm not sure if it would work anyway.
Soundwave is my favorite, and it would really be nice if I could get him back together again, so help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Newer member here. My 5 and 2yo sons have recently become nuts over Transformers, and I have gladly followed along. I was able to pick up a very affordable Unicron, but it is missing the chest door on the left side and some missile pieces. Not a problem for playing with, but just wanted to see if anyone had any replacement parts and how much they wanted for them.
Thanks

The thing is, one of my favorite transformers, (energon Arcee) seems to be having problems around the shoulders, like the ball joints that are getting rough, and even feel like they scrape together more that they should. And the joints where the arms fold up seem much too tight, and are getting stress marks.
What can i do about this? i am extremely conscientious about keeping my TF's in as perfect of condition as possible, and i have not had this one for very long. And the parts with stress marks, do i just need to lightly file edges of the octagonal parts of these joints? should i try to push the metal rods/pins out of these joints, and replace them with ones just a few hairs slimmer? PLEASE HELP!

Did you try some JB Weld? That stuff should hold together real nice. That or some other types of 2 part epoxy would probably work better than krazy glue.

Problem is, he's got the attachment for his fusion cannon to fit it to his arm, but the cannon itself is missing. I was wondering if anyone had a spare one that they would be willing to sell or maybe trade for, as ebay hasn't got any, and there's nowhere nearby that I can think of that might sell old toys to see if they have it.

Matrix of Leadership 20th DVD Optimus Prime won't light up
Posted by Darkclyde Tue Jan 22, 2008 9:02 am
Considering i live in Indonesia, there are no Hasbro official representative here, i even try to contact Toys R Us store here, but they didn't now what to do, they said they didn't distribute this action figure here so they can't help with this problem.
My question is: what can i do to repair it?
one posibilities that i can think of is to make my own PCB to replace the original matrix's PCB... but it's a long shot.
So... for now, i'm open for suggestions.

Did it happen all of a sudden, or was it after you played with him or tranformed him? My only thought is that the box that holds the matrix is not lined up correctly with the blue button. Try moving that box around a bit to see if it re-aligns. I hope this helps, good luck.

Try ebay you'll have better luck. Don't trade online with anyone. There's alot of conartists unfortunately.
