godzilla, whether villain or antihero, is always portrayed as a force of destruction. he is better suited to a megatron, grimlock, or at his most heroic bw diobot.
prime is hard to pin down. the only monster thats always a protagonist in godzilla movies is mothra and shes established as female most of the time. gamera may work for prime, he saves children.
lets see what else we can do with this concept.

ghidorah= animated blitzwing comes to mind with hilarious results.
rodan=starscream, always trying to steal the spotlight.
gigan= hmm something gives me a shockwave feel. maybe the ruthlessness. rid scourge could work too.
mechagodzilla= ok a robot version of a robot with a beast disguise? beast machine megs
space godzilla=galvatron, need i elaborate?
destroyer=devastator feels right what with those weird bug components, too bad the insecticons were never a combiner.

Ghidrah should be RID Galvatron, he already has two heads (maybe kitbash his tail into a third head)and the wings. RID Megatron could then be used for Destroyah, with his wings, snout and ear flaps.

If any one has Cybertron Scourge he actually has a pretty good Ghidorah mode if you stand him up and Set his legs up to look like wings. Hell he already has the three dragon heads

He's a mutated Godzillasaurus(fictional dinosaur), NOT some lizard.

Funny story. The American version isn't even "in name" anymore. He was in Godzilla: Final Wars as "Zilla", given a breath weapon, and then destroyed by the Big G quicker than you could say "He's in this movie and now Canon?!"

He has a total screen time under 45 seconds.
