That's a lot of red. The ultimate final form of this mold will be G2 Hero colors, but who knows if it'll ever get that far.

The Holiday Prime we got a while ago is getting a G1 Optimus Prime repaint. So not the G2 Hero Prime people were hoping for, but you'll let us know if you are still into it. We now have a very good look at the toy. We have in hand images from Banshee who posted them on the TFW2005 boards and we have a review from Prime vs Prime. We thank -Kanrabat- for bringing it to our attention.

The trailer, appart its weird black butt, is much improved compared to the depressingly drab Earthrise version.
Those who won't Reprolabels their ER trailer may want to get the VNR Optimus and swap the trailers around, along the trailer's "shields".
For me though, I'll wait for the Hero version, having already the Holiday one.

I like the deco on the truck. The trailer looks pretty good, and I actually think the shorty box looks fitting for the truck, like a daytime delivery semi, vs an OTR. The black backdoor is outta place, but otherwise not bad.

Eh. Trailer isn't the deal breaker for me. I have a bias against fake kibble. Prime has always had a bit of a bodybuilder's physique with the cab-over front end forming a pseudo pec and abs design with the windshield and grille. This constant need to maintain it with false parts just smacks of lazy engineering to me. If you can't make the parts line up where they need to go, stop adding fake ones and just give him chest armor.
Whatever they're charging for that is too much if you already have a Prime on your shelf. They should sell the trailer as an accessory and be done with it.

This may be a pick up for me. I really like the mold, love Tf that turn into real vehicles and knew it was never gonna Combat Hero Prime. The legs are backwards for that, he's missing the missiles and isn't a military vehicle. Plus they said the repaint was going to be more normal colors so clearly it was gonna be G1 Prime.

Oh yeah, I agree with this.
They could have come up with something that give clues of his usual look, but without the faux parts.
AoE/TlK knight Optimus have this going for him at least.
