So I found this thing at our local dollar store today, available in red and blue, a KO of the Machine Wars/Robot Masters Mirage mold. There's at least a dozen of them in there... I might get more for repaint fodder.

Plastic quality ain't too bad, no light piping for the eyes, though.

Knock offs eh (yes I am canadian)
I've noticed quite a few of those aroud here (don't have any pics though, I'd get in trouble for taking snap shots in a store)
Actually I bought a ruination/Bruticus set at a county fair, and then I went to this one dallar stoer that I heard was selling transformers, thing was they were basically minicon moulds but were the size of deluxe figures, now if that ain't a cheap knockoff I don't know what is

Yep those are the ones, then there was also bad repaints of the deluxe Armada Optimus, and two horrible over sized repaints of RID and beastwars Dragon Megatron

I have those for quite a while now (check my photobucket album for pics). They're a set with Cybertron Sideways, Thundercracker & Override. The size seems to be on par with original Deluxes and although missing some gimmick/articulations (Planet Keys gimmick doesn't work/Starscream's missing elbows) the quality is very good..

Thanx bout the size. I'm satisfied with both of them, a decent KO. Ready for another flood of KO after the 2nd movie came out (in my place, it started shortly before the 1st movie)

I think this KO is from Taiwan. It's Star Saber from the Victory series. He combines with Victory Leo to form Victory Saber...

I think it's the same one I bought long time ago but I can't be sure without the packaging. IF they're the same, the quality is very good and accurate

I have the KO of Dai Atlas Z from Taiwan and I can tell you the quality is excellent for a KO. Now if this KO Star Saber is from Taiwan then I can tell you the it's not made of cheap plastic and that you are getting an excellent KO...

That is great news! I have been trying to find any info I can on this
but have found nothing. The main thing that stands out is every KO I find pics of has red feet but this one has blue.
Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

parkzz, this is the knock-off Transformers toys thread. That looks to be a legit Movie Megatron from your pics and link.

Does anyone know if KO seekers and Jetfires are in the US? I've tried every big lots I can find and I can't seem to find them. I really want to build an "army"

I was looking over at YaHobby that sells some Unofficial Reissues of some popular G1 figures and was wondering if the Dinobots are pretty good quality. I might just go for a Swoop since he is the only one missing in my lot....other than a G1 Snarl (had G2 since I was young).
I am also thinking about the G1 Constructicons as well. If anyone has any of these figures what are you opinions on them?

I'm not sure bout the dinobot but IMO, most of the G1 gestalts, if not good, has decent quality. But still, I'm not sure if we're talking bout the same product
