I'm wavering on seeing the Rumble, mostly because if I do, there's a 50% possibility of me seeing those words, and, to put a long story short, I don't want to.

Considering that thing only existed to be Captain Trips' vanity belt, I have no real problem that a joke like Daniel Bryan has it. Hell, even when they gave it to Mark Henry, I didn't mind.

I actually didn't mind Henry having it. At least he was somewhat believable with his size and power, even if he couldn't wrestle for ****. And I would much rather have that title on HHH than Daniel Bryan. The guy is a total turn-off, I can't believe they had Show job to him 3 times. And if I was at the arena when that bullshit ending with AJ went down, I would have asked for my money back. Seriously. I'm so glad the last WWE event I went to was almost a decade ago.

You do realize that Daniel Bryan can cripple all of us without hesitation?

Sooo that's why Booker T, Foley, & Nash jumped off the TNA boat.
Could someone tell me where's Jeff Jarret? TNA was much better when he was around IMO.
That all being said, I'm glad this thread continues.

Probably at home slipping it to Karen Angle...
If Daniel Bryan goes to WMXXVIII as champ, and stays champ, it will most likely make me nauseous. And if Cena actually wins, I'm probably gonna puke...

Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I do. It's really the only match on the card thus far that I actually have an interest in, since I know that Sheamus will beat Bryan (Vince would have to be completely stupid to let Bryan retain the belt on the biggest show...ah, who am I kidding?), Taker/Trips is likely to be not as good as they'd like it to be and Cena/Rock has the potential to be to this generation of wrestling fans what Sting/Hogan at Starrcade 97 was to my generation of wrestling fans.

Yeah. Vince has made dumber decisions. But I really hope they're just building Bryan up as an annoying douchebag to make Sheamus's win that much sweeter.

Cage matches aren't hard to pull off at all. It all depends on the fans' mindset. and what we're expecting. Personally, I'm not expecting a mat-wrestling match. I'm expecting a blood-bath. I might be let down, but the match will definitely have some high spots and serious impact. I can't wait.

Sting/Hogan was a mediocre match at best. The comparison is fair, as Cena has about as much wrestling ability as Hogan did. It was also the same in being built up. And in the end, it didn't live up to the hype. Hogan/Rock was built much smarter and it did live up to it. Hopefully this match will be just like it, with the same result: Rock winning.

Yeah, it was definitely cringe-inducing. And Wade screamed the F word about 8-9 times as well. Reminded me of Eddie Guerrero breaking his elbow in 2000 right after he debuted in the WWE. Having broken my right arm twice, I know exactly what Wade went through. Except for me it wasn't a 230-pound wrestler who fell on it, it was a fat chick in 7th grade gym class...
Also, side note, I think it's really cool that both Mike Tyson and Ron Simmons are going into the Hall of Fame. Tyson is way overdue, and I never thought Simmons would go in. Hopefully Savage and Davey Boy will get to go sooner than later.

I hope so, too, because otherwise it's just gonna be like the Cole/Lawler feud a year ago: built up in hopes of blowing off at Wrestlemania, then kept going for two months after everyone stopped caring.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Then again, I enjoyed the match at last year's Wrestlemania, and I'm pretty sure I'd feel 100% completely different about it if I watched it today.

I'm comparing it more on the hype being built up around it rather than the ability of those involved. I'm fairly certain something will happen to flush the past year's (more like past few months, actually) buildup of the match.

Yeah they kept bleeping him, then the ref made the "X" sign, I remember the Eddie incident.. That was so hard to watch..

I would like to see it done at WrestleMania, like it was back at WrestleMania 13 with Bret Hart and Steve Austin. Almost. I want Rock to win, and then Cena attack him after the match. Regardless of what happens, I don't want Cena to win, but that's what will happen most likely.
Win or lose, I want Cena turn heel again and M. Cole to turn good. I didn't like the Lawler v. Cole stoyline at all--However I do think Larenitis (sp) and Long will be good for at least 6 months. Their Smackdown antics were hysterical.
Now TNA--Sting leave too. TNA's last 5 minutes made me sick...I never thought Sting annoyingly silly until then.

The match selection was quite surprising, but not in a bad way. There are some hardly-ever-released matches on this set, and some that have been released on other sets, the Summerslam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series matches he has been in, only because those have their own sets. I highly recommend this. I grew up on watching this guy along with Austin, Taker, Foley and The Game, so this was definitely a trip down nostalgia lane.
One peculiar thing that struck me was how much time they spent on SummerSlam 2002, which involved Brock Lesnar. The match is on the set, and the documentary involved a lot of footage with Lesnar in it. Could this mean that now that he is finished in the UFC he may be on his way back, especially if he settled things with Vince? I think the WWE is missing that intense big guy they always had since Batista left. Sure, there are some big guys, but not established like Lesnar and Batista were. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing him back.
If you were a fan during the Attitude Era, get this set. You won't be disappointed, if you smell what The Rock is cooking.

His Debut - Survivor Series 1996
Ladder Match vs. HHH - Summerslam 1998
Triple Threat Cage Match vs. Mankind and Ken Shamrock - Breakdown (September 1998)
I Quit Match vs. Mankind - Royal Rumble 1999
No Holds Barred vs. Steve Austin - Backlash 1999
Triple Threat vs. Kurt Angle and HHH - Summerslam 2000
Tag Team Match with Undertaker vs. Edge and Christian - Raw (December 2000)
Vs. Ric Flair - Raw (July 2002)
Vs. Brock Lesnar - Summerslam 2002
Vs. Hulk Hogan - No Way Out 2003
Also, there's a misprint on the DVD box, listing a match against HHH in May 1998, but the match is not on there.
On the Blu-Ray set, the Tag Match with Cena against Miz and Truth at Survivor Series 2011 is included. I didn't care, so I saved $10.
