Reverse Convoy!!!

Those two GI Joe X-Over sets is proof enough that we could have a line of Transformers that could be big enough to be rideable vehicles with a Classic Joe sized human. Even if the Transformers would be a bit more kibbly than usual or having hollow spaces, I'd love to see a few.

The best way to introduce such a line would be in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee collection. Just imagine, G1 Bee with Sam, Animated Bee with Sari, and so on.

I still don't understand why Super7 hasn't done human figures yet, it would be so easy. They do human characters all the time for various media. Feels like a no brainer. It's not like Hasbro would likely do more than 5 POA.

Yeah, those I would buy. We have enough Starscreams a day Optimusses. TRANSFORMABLE ONES. So why not make the humans for once?

My kingdom for a Sari Sumdack 2 pack set containing the young and old versions with all the accessories.

It might be due to preconceived notions of them not selling. All it would take to test it would be if they're brave enough to do one figure.

Much as we all say about non-G1 lines entering the Masterpiece collection. Just one Pretender or UT figure, as a gauge for interest.

I'd be down for MP pretenders. Especially Metalhwak because the original is impossible to get unless you're rich AND lucky.

Still, I'd cum actual metal buckets and sh!t literal cinder bricks if MP Bludgeon or Thunderwing ever gets announced.

I think if MP Pretenders were made, it would be Takara doing them, and they would start with Jazz, Bee and Grimlock, or the Cons from Masterforce.

As a Marvel comic fan, my 1st choices would be Landmine and Cloudburst, even though the Cons did appear about 12 issues earlier.

Neither have the Classic Pretenders. Also, even tho were a special release in Japan, they did not come with their shells, similar to the K-Mart Legends:

But yes, it is weird that out of all the characters that get remade into new continuities, Thunderwing never reaches TV. Plenty of comics, and a few games, but no TV.

The odd thing about Thunderwing is the size of the figure. He was a "Mega" Pretender. You would have thought, for the effort and expense that went into making him, he would have been given a higher profile push?

EG, Crossblades and Vroom (the other Mega Pretenders) were even animated for a ad:



Thunderwing didn't even get that much. His retool as Black Shadow, got more exposure than he did. Echoes of the Cybershark/Sky Byte thing, from the Beast Era.

So there's nowhere really good to post this so I'm going to post it here. You know how Hasbro is really against reissues when it involves missing molds? Adam Savage's latest video is for a CT scanner that's being produced for industrial use, either things are sent to them to scan or it can be purchased and moved to a facility (it's on wheels and just plugs into a wall). I bring this up because one of the specific things the operator mentions is how it can be used for toy parts with missing molds! Crazy right? Unlike a 3D scanner that just scans the visible surface the CT scanner scans the inside as well to make 100% 3D copy down to the scratches! They show of a complex plastic part and an identical 3D printed copy from the scan. They also scanned Adam's Gundam model, that was pretty cool! So my point is there's really no longer an excuse not to do reissues of things like the Dinobots, Sunstreaker or Mirage, options are out there.

If HasTak won't do it, you can bet your Ungur holding facility that some Chinese smart-ass will.

How expensive are those scanners? Because honestly, the only way HasTak might not do it is if the cost of buying the scanners and recreating the molds somehow surpasses the potential profits of the rereleased toys. Which, given the amount of reissues over the years both of G1 and Beast Wars toys, I find unlikely.

Anyway, we recently got an Ark, and people keep clamoring for an accompanying Nemesis. But what about, for a future Titan, a space bridge? We already have at least one character to use, even if his design is humorously literal.



Also, how likely are we to get Go-Bots and other Bandai-produced Transformers molds updated/reissued by Takara with their Dream Together partnership?

I'll believe this is anything more than a publicity stunt when Takara Tomy makes a Gundam that turns into a space ship (and not some clunky thing with exposed arms and legs) and Bandai makes a MG Optimus Prime kit. For now I'm not expecting much.

I could see this actually happening, Hasbro did make those Power Rangers Turtles. I think the ideal way would be Titan Masters for the Turtles and then maybe the Chromedome mold for the bodies since it sort of has a shell. I would totally buy a Deluxe 4 pack like that.

I kinda want to see TR Soundwave as Krang's robot body with Krang's face painted on one of the tapes or maybe the bottom of that gun sled that comes with it.

Anyway, at SDCC the panelists suggested some of their dream Collaborative projects (more GI Joe, a Chocobo, Pokémon, Nickelodeon properties such as a Reptar). I myself would suggest two for Doctor Who: either Octus (he already has a Dalek altmode anyway) or a Tardis with Animated Lockdown engineering (so the bot mode is bigger than the alt mode; "bigger on the inside and all that"). And if it meant publishing Phil Jimenez' cancelled Transformers/Justice League crossover, I'd love to see the designs from that concepts: Batmobile-bot, Invisible Jet-bot, and Green Lantern Optimus.


Also, here's a few obscure teams I'd like to see (either individually or as a multi-pack)
- The Destructons

- Hook, Line and Sinker (maybe they'd work as a Tripredacus retool?)

Ooh, neat! I'd actually suggest Ramhorn as Rocksteady, but Overkill actually works better since it's bipedal.

So, does anyone else remember Sentius Malus and Sentius Magnus from Earth Wars? How come those never got any representation outside the game, not even in toy form? Seem like pretty easy repaints, and since they were originally one being they could also make them another combiner like Animated Safeguard.



Also, who else would be interested in R.E.D. Marvel Primus and Unicron? As in, the forms they had before they became planet robots?

I think those could be made out of Rodimus or Hot Rod for Primus and either Cyclonus or Galvatron for Unicron.
