Same question, mostly. I don't dislike the current head... But... I put Nitro in my CHUG Collection SOLELY because of Titan Master compatibility. If Thundercracker has it, I have to reconsider some things...

The seekers being straight lazy repaints of Starscream has only ever worked in G1 due to the generic design that can fit any character in it.

Movie Starscream's proportions only work for Starscream himself I for one think Thundercracker looks great, this reminds me of his appearances in the movie Idw comics where his body was like this due to being in a protoform body.

Honestly I think going forward in the franchise the Seekers should just stop being straight repaints of Starscream it doesn't do justice to Thundercracker, Skywarp or any other Seeker as characters.

I know I'm in the minority of people that didn't think the Nitro figure was all that great so I wont be too broken up if I don't find Thundercracker. Alt mode does look nice in the pictures, but that was my least favorite thing about Nitro so I'm sure his underside will still be a total mess and his wings still wont straighten out right and his arms still wont snap into place in jet mode. I probably would have been happier with him being a repaint of SS Voyager Starscream instead like all of the other movie Thundercrackers.

If Thundercracker ends up on TRU.com on sale I'll get one, but not for $30.

Now that I look at it again with the big arm and the grey chest he looks to be a homage to Transformers Cybertron Thundercracker as well as G1 Thundercracker.

I'll second ravageXK comment about UK availability, seems that we'll have to import this one like all the rest of the tfs that never make it to blighty.

I will say that I'm glad that this thundercracker isn't just a repaint of ss, if I'm honest. I think it's time that the three of them got different bodies, even if they were only slightly different in retooling.

Oh I like this. I've never even liked Thundercracker much (I had the G1 toy when I was a kid and even then I thought it was junk) but I do like that deco and the new head. Not sure where I'd find this in the UK though but hopefully one of the usual online retailers will have it. I agree with folk in that I like that it's NOT just Starscream in blue as the usual lazy boring seeker squads usually do. I like the variety here. Hm, who could Skywarp be made from though to keep things different (though wouldn't mind him and TC being the same mold with only Starscream being unique since he has always been more important than them)

Movie Starscream is probably the worst design they could've made for a character they could've repainted into many others. I like this...Thunder Zeus...a lot. Looks like Nitro is the new seeker.

How much is it going to cost 50 bucks? Think ill stick with nitro, happy with the figure and it only cost me $15. But i will admit thundercracker does look cool, doesnt look like him (guess its sticking with movie tradition) but it would work as a new seeker.

You'll have to split the difference between $50 and $15 if you want it and be content with $30. That's not all that bad, it's MSRP for SS Voyagers, so it's nice on the rare occasions when TRU sells their exclusives for the same price as mass retail figures.

Toys r us US cut off the UK branch like a diseased limb hence why the UK one couldn't rely on the us one too save it. The us stores are still in trouble but they have more of a chance to save themselves.

I'm going to use my Takara Tomy Ghost Starscream head with this figure and then add be done Reprolabel Decepticon symbols to the wings.

I just occurred to me that despite being an exclusive he's numbered in line with the rest of the series. Not only is that a strange thing to do and sort of annoying for completests, but isn't that going to screw up the Japanese numbering (which is the same as ours) if it isn't released over there as well? Just makes this figure even more of a black sheep in a line it really doesn't belong in in the first place.

That said, I'm now considering buying this just so the Legends Ghost Starscream Headmaster has something to ride in. I'm not a fan of mixing the styles, but it might be OK.
