On the one hand, I think this is really cool looking!
but on the other hand I think it looks a little long and gangly

I like it. It's far from perfect - for the most part it looks a bit too much like the base fig with extensions - but it's certainly an inspiration. Sometimes something like this kind of challenges you to try and improve on it. I look forward to seeing the responses...

Thats b/c he did paint the base figure to match the armor. probably didn't want to ruin the base figure.

strange, I thought I replied to this. maybe it was on the AllSpark.
hrm, I own a RID Scourge, but he's with most of my bots at my mom's house. I'd like to see if you could turn his waist around 180 degrees and retract his legs and use them as thighs. (pretty sure you'd have to turn the waist around so that the knee guards wouldn't get in the way of bending the legs up) he would probably have better proportions then. of course, then his lower legs are still hollow, and you have nothing to attach them to.

*Shrugs.* Got no clue. But I've been wanting one ever since I discovered that page ages ago... That one amongst others, in fact.
And yeah... I looked around and saw no where the series name is listed, too, Hobbyist Prime. But the original page's URL has "AMDRIVER" in it... And there is an AMDRIVER01.htm page along with an AMDRIVER02.htm page. I'm thinking that has to do with the series' name somehow...
Pages found here. (Google translated.)
