Rubsigns are silly! You either wear a faction logo or you don't!

What self respecting 'bot is going to put itself in this situation?

In the midst of battle, they'd be running up to each other, wondering which side everyone is on, because the only way to find out is to give everyone on the field a vigorous rub down in some questionable places!

I guess Tracks might do it, I hear he's into that kind of thing.

its the "disguise" element of robots in "disguise"

and i'm sure they use common sense, i don't think primes ever going to go up to megatron and go, hmm i know we've fought before and you have tried to kill me on many of occasions, but to be sure i'm gonna rub your sign

and tracks, i've seen that discussion go from one extreme to the other, but in my opinion he is just one really vain transformer, not what other people think he is

The "Disguise" element of Robots in "Disguise" is the vehicle mode. Rubsigns serve absolutely no purpose. They're just an ugly black block on a character that would look way better without it, considering that most TFs with a rubsign already have faction symbols anyway!

And I was being facetious but fine... Prime and Megatron get a pass on needing to rub each others signs.

rubsigns do serve little purpose when the faction symbol is plastered all over the alt mode, but I think they've done an ok job of hiding them for the RTS line. Except for the card backs anyway

i do like the old ones with the silver border though. something strange about the new ones

I'm not really a fan of the new rubsigns either. Though Deepdive has done a good job of hiding his alliance. I still don't know what side he's on.

i like old rubsigns.
and tracks can't be gay cos bots dont have sexualities. he's just camp and vain.

plus, personally i wouldnt feel to comfortable keeping him next to jazz and drift if he was. i wouldnt want to of my best bots getting all queer.

Cool Stockport is only 25 minutes on the bus for me I will have to check that out . This is madness Stockport hasn't had anything new is ages whats the world coming to.

but if you think about it vehicle disguises don't really work, because once you seen someone transform from there alt mode to robot, you kind of don't forget what they look like? and you could always blast vehicles that look similar just to be safe

ahhhh makes sense esp if seaspray is a bot, still not getting the mold though, they could gold chrome / make him transparent and i still wouldnt want it, same goes with powerglide

The diguises were always for the humans, and the trick was to not let them see the transformation. To use them on the Decepticons, they'd need to hide in a sea of similar looking cars for example. City Streets are perfect for this but has the unfortunate downside of causing the frustrated 'con to start blasting random cars/people looking for the Autobot. Which would make the 'bot reveal itself to save the people anyway... Yeah you're right their disguises suck.

It's no wonder the "diguise" element didn't make it too far past the first episode.

I got ledgens hftd duststorm at argos, was hoping to get rts megatron but the only other they had in was sandstrom and i have him already.
duststorm is a very cool beige and purple and grey decepticon repaint of springer.
nice now to hav that mold without a really wobbly leg...
but i have fallen into the repaint trap. i swore never to get repaints of figures i already own lest it cost me millions of pounds but i have 2 ledgends primes(one is the grey and blue one), and now this...

i like spongebob. i'll see you there electron.

so duststorm is out then? he is part of the last wave of hftd legends. hmmm another actual sighting of importance. maybe this means we could see the tomahawk and highbrow waves then.

Still don't want him though, I have seaspray and find Deepdive to be an unnesassary repaint.

I like that Deep Dive looks like the GI Joe Killer Whale. I also like that his name sounds a bit like some kind of sexual activity. Sadly, neither of these make for a toy that I want. Actually, that's not "sadly" I'm happy! Less money I feel the need to spend!

Does that mean the Breacher repaint is of the same allegiance?

Also, in my mind Tracks is a homosexual male Autobot, but the only transformer he deems attractive enough to love is himself.

the breacher repaint (bodyblock) is an autobot.
i feel the same about getting deepdive, and i dont even have seaspray!
